I read these sort of FMLs and always think to myself, how could you date someone who smells like BO constantly? Now, I understand that some people don't stink of BO but I would think that's less likely and the majority do stink without deodorant.

That reminds me of a guy I knew in high school. He had the worst BO I'd ever smelled (it was so bad that, even though his locker was about a mater away from mine, the smell would permeate the other lockers so that my -and other people's- books REEKED of his BO at the end of every day) ...and yet he always managed to have a new girlfriend every few months. There were multiple women who could somehow put up with the stench. I just...don't get it. It was the sort of smell that would make a person literally gag every time you'd walk past him. :/

I dunno, she may want to consider where things are going if his only accomplishment is putting on deodorant. I don't think I'd want to be with someone who has no drive to accomplish things in life.
