Today, I had a phone interview for a job I've had my eye on forever. I was dumped a few hours before the interview, but was okay until I was put on hold with music playing. Me and my boyfriend's song came on and I started bawling. I could hardly talk when they took me off hold. FML

Wrong.
"My Ex-boyfriend and I's song"
Although the joke was not lost on me.

LMAO that is SO full of fail. So, essentially, you are saying "I song came on the radio"? (I's? really?)
There is no correct way of saying this: it's not "me and my boyfriend's song" or "my boyfriend's and I's song"... "our" song. we use "our" in the English language when you share possession with another
edit: meant for the person who said "my boyfriend's and I's"
the song of me and my ex boyfriend sounds better

Yes, it would be ... "My and my ex-boyfriend's song" or "My ex-boyfriend's and my song".
MAJOR FAIL @ the person who started this grammar tirade, yet put "My ex-boyfriend and I's song"! I's??? LOL. That was tragic.

You all fail! There is a correct way of saying it:
"mine and my ex-boyfriend's song..."
"mine and my ex-boyfriend's song..."

To avoid all these complicated trivialities, just recast the sentence into a less troublesome form.
What do you mean when you indicate possession? That you and your ex-boyfriend really enjoyed the song? If so, you could write "... the song that my ex-boyfriend and I really enjoyed..." ; you get the idea.

Can we finally stop the grammar lessons?? ;)
Although it is kind of fun. I might just add my two cents anyway.
When you have a statement that applies to A and B, the statement reduced to only A or B should also be correct.
For example "Jason and I went to the park." as opposed to "Jason and me ...", because "Me went to the park." is wrong.
The same goes for all cases (subject, object, possessive), so
"That book is for Steve and me."
(not "... Steve and I.", as "That book is for I." is wrong.) and
"That's my xbf's and my song." [that's "xbf's" not "xbf"]
(not "mine and my xbf's ..." because English speakers always list themselves last and "mine song" is wrong unless you're Shakespeare or German; nor "me and my xbf's ..." because "me song" is wrong unless you're a pirate. Also, "the song of me and my xbf", though strictly correct (up to order) sounds kind of strange: "Bathroom is down the hall and here is the room of me!")
That's the formulation I consider right, however unusual and confusing it may sound. ;)
Oh and #7: YOUR joke was not lost on I! ^^

#90, it would be Nazis, not Nazi's. "Nazi's" would mean "Nazi is" or that the Nazi is possessive over something. And in the term grammar Nazis it is not.
Sincerely, a fellow grammar Nazi :P
