People can be so disrespectful. :/ As though your weight has any bearing on how well you can do the job. It sounds like the owner was just being a jackass, so you're probably better off not working there at all.

And btw, we have no idea what the OP looks like. The comments about she needs to lose weight are just stupid.

It all depends on the place you're trying to apply. Like, if you're applying to be a waitress, then yeah, you should probably have credentials as well as have a good outer appearance.
If you don't have that criteria, then yeah, you're not gonna get the job. Sucks to be you!

I guess I should elaborate. Don't insult someone when you have no idea what they look like.
If you weren't then I apologize to a small degree. Still if your profile pic is you, you honestly have no room to talk.
And in my last comment, I was making fun of how you type like an ignorant school girl with all the "likes" and "yeahs." It's text, no reason to add those useless fillers in if you ask me.

Oh well if that's really what he said then you may have a case for court - that's discriminatory hiring practice. You also should have some extra motivation to get in shape go back and apply for the job again, get hired and then be like - haha, It is I, the former fat chick that you didn't want to hire! Take your stinking job and shove it!

Today, I was grading work my students had done with a sub. I realized one student had gotten hold of the teachers' edition of the textbook when I read ten papers in a row that had "Student answers may vary" as the answer to problem number four. My students can't even cheat properly. FML

Today, I was at work talking to an older man. As our conversation ended, he said, "Thank you, ma'am." Then, he quickly stumbled over his words as he said, "I mean, thank you, sir. I meant sir. I think." He gazed at me for a moment in confusion, then darted away. FML
