Today, I had a customer scream at me for ruining their child's birthday party. They had bought a Piñata from me and didn't know they had to fill it themselves. The kids had hit it open and it was empty. FML

I can understand if they thought that initially, but couldn't they tell from the weight? TDI.

Read....or even be able to tell by the weight of the piñata that it's empty...

Candy? Man. I put hot sauce and gravy in my piñata

I filled mine with waterproof matches and gasoline. And one shiny new quarter.
I used it to teach seven year olds the concepts of Mutually Assured Destruction and Limited Resources.
...I'm not a teacher anymore.

#54 I would have also noticed from the lack of the sound of candy moving around in it

That's just....idiotic.
Even if the customer didn't know you had to fill them, you'd think they would feel/hear that there was nothing inside it. An empty pinata is much lighter than a full one. o_O

Either that, or they were too stupid that they thought: "It's not rustling when I shake it. It must be JAM PACKED with candy!"

Maybe they assumed it was a diet piñata and the lightness was due to the lack of calories. Anything is possible with stupid people.

The ultimate disappointment. That's worse than opening your wallet when there's no money in it. I feel sorry for the kids.

So they thought 20$ pays for a pound of candy too? They deserve it, and FYL.

God damnit, I knew it looked weird. And I'm so hard on myself when it comes to grammar, too. Oh, and I was trying to make a joke, which failed, obviously.
