That's really really sad and unfortunate an experience to have,.. but I think should also be considerate that it may have been much too much pressure for him. As your bf, it might actually make him feel less of a man for not feeling like there's much he can do much about it. It's a breathtaking statement to strangers on the internet let alone someone so close.

I wouldn't say to try reaching out to him, but I would def say to not block him from you if he tries to own up as your loved one
