Today, I bought my cats two new litter boxes in hopes that they would use them. They still prefer to pee on the clothes in my closet. FML

get a pine pellet litter. regular litter doesn't work. to Much ammonia.

Cats tend to pee on soft things they can reach. Try a different litter. Some cats are picky. And hang up your clothes.

Just get rid of the cats I understand some people enjoy them as pets, but health issues or not, they ruin stuff. Once a cat urinates on something it's as good as trash, the smell never comes out.

Some good suggestions here. The MOST helpful one was the tin foil. And the lemon smell..... I tried pine sol. Worked for a while, but then she went back. FYL if you can't resolve this. The problem isn't training. It's breaking a bad habit because animals live by smells and tactile cues. Cats AND dogs.
