Today, due to my lagging browser, I accidentally "liked" a status my friend made about the deterioration of her relationship. Then, the computer froze, making it impossible to "unlike" it immediately. My friend won't accept that it was a mistake. FML

Your friend is stupid. It was a mistake, you apologized, if she won't accept that then that's too bad for her. But it's probably still fresh, so give her time and she'll come around.

OPs friend is an idiot. "you liked an online status! saying you did it by accident in real life is a lie!". OP needs to get friends with common sense.

People these days are so immature! D: if op said it was accidental, there is no reason to make such a big deal out of it! :[

idk where you love but where I live, liking a status isn't "liking it" it's agreeing with it.

well atleast she doesnt think you were messing with him behind her back but she should come to reason and acknowledge that it was in fact a mistake unless you didnt like her bf in the first place..

How unfortunate. A similar thing happened to me on my relationship status. Needless to say, I'm divorced now. How many more lives will these lagging browsers ruin?

I prefer Satan, or Shaniqua if I'm undercover, but whatever floats your boat.

This another reason why facebook is the downfall of society. Communication may have expanded as it is easier to stay in touch, but it is also causing our social interactions to shrink. Petty misunderstandings, miscommunications, etc are becoming more and more common due to technological errors (computer crashing, etc), and the inability to read social cues that are only present in "meet space" (tone of voice, etc). People need to stop taking petty things like this so seriously. If anything F your friends life for being so immature to not accept a mistake.

Yeah, I have the same problem with my iPhone. I always unlike it again if it's something I don't want to like, but they get a notification anyway :') Oh well. Hopefully they think it's just another facebook bug.
