And now you know 3 things you did not before:
(1) Soon to be ex-Husband is a cheater.
(2) Soon to be ex-husband is bisexual.
(3) You need to get checked for STD’s.

OP I am sorry, there is no up side to this for you.

No, you traveled 8 hrs to see your husband of 13 years. I would reccomend marriage counseling before writing off the marriage, and try to work on the underlying issues. Especially if this is the first time anything like this has happened.

I dunno if I'd consider an affair to be a "three strikes then you're out" sort of thing. For most of us even a one night stand would be a dealbreaker.

Good marriages where both partners put in effort can survive these temporary distances, and after schooling they can be better off financially, improving their lives. I would never cheat on my wife just because she left for school for a while.

Because it wants the correct pronoun usage, otherwise what is the point of the internet if you can't have a hissy-fit if someone mentions the incorrect pronoun but no one freaks out?

Well, his Christmas present is now a great big bill to cover the costs of all the STD tests you now need since he's cheating.
I'm so sorry. :( Here's hoping the divorce is quick and you leave him with nothing!
