Prepare For The Nostalgia, Degrassi Fans. Drake's New Music Video Will Take You Back.

Jimmy is back, and he's finally giving the people what they want.

If you were a Degrassi fan as a kid, then you already know what's up. But if you read the title of this article and you're wondering why you should care, we will gladly explain you a thing.

Degrassi was a show ahead of its time from early 2000s that dealt with a lot of pretty heavy stuff: rape, depression, abuse, cancer, eating disorders, coming out of the closet, and much, much more. One of the more climactic moments in the series was a school shooting in which one of the main characters, Jimmy Brooks-- (more commonly known now as Drake,) -- gets shot and ends up disabled.

Not only was that moment iconic for many people, but after Aubrey Graham left the show and went on to become Drake as we know him, Degrassi fans were like

Jimmy? Dat you?

In short: Degrassi meant a lot of things to a lot of people, it was weird when Drake became Drake, and it kinda seemed like the Degrassi days were just swept under the rug to give Drake a tougher rapper persona.

Until now.

Yesterday, Drake's new video I'm Upset came out and lo and behold: the entire cast of Degrassi is in it. It takes place in Degrassi. Christ, they even brought one character, Rick, back from the dead. Jimmy is thriving-- and walking. And the whole thing is just pure nostalgia. Watch for yourself below... and make sure you stick around for the end credits. It's worth it.

Aside from the nostalgia factor, it can't be ignored that the video came out during a time that there is a highly publicized and ongoing fight between Drake and rapper Pusha T. Besides the general uproar from the video being released and people being jazzed about it, many people had some pretty hilarious things to say about Drake clearly dodging the argument.
