Not me!

Today, my teacher brought up the topic of gay marriage. One child next to me exclaimed "eww!" at it. Everyone next to me thought it was me. I am gay. FML

I wouldn't be surprised if some part of the gay community isn't thrilled about getting marriage. It seems one of the benefits of being gay was not having to put up with the bullshit of marriage!

Knowing that you’re gay now helps cut through a lot of red tape and awkward dates later. Trust me. I didn’t go on my first real gay date until I was in my late 20s.

What I find shocking is that (some) of the ones that say they aren’t gay earlier in life (adamantly) have either curiousity spells or come out later. Hell, a 1/3 of my former Boy Scout troop is gay.

The girls will figure it out soon enough.

You could talk to the kid in question but he probably isn’t mature enough to handle it yet. The smart ones figure out that everyone deserves equal rights.

You’ll be fine.

Hey they are kids and all they are taught is what they see in the movies and what their parents say. I hope that you find somebody that you want to settle down with someday. Everyone deserves to happily married. But remember they are just kids.
