Good idea

Today, my girlfriend parked in a disabled space with no authorisation. There was a car park attendant walking towards the car and before we got out she said to me, “sorry, but needs must” and she punched me in the balls. The attendant thought I was disabled when I got out. FML

She sounds like an incredibly shitty person. First for parking in an accessible space and for punching you.

Firstly, that is an abusive relationship. Anyone who hits their partner is a lowlife. Secondly, walking funny would not be enough for a parking attendant who would look for the relevant badge in the car giving permission to park in a disabled zone. Anyone can walk funny getting out of a car.

If you didn’t ask her to move, ydi. Those spaces not being available can make it so people are unable to live their daily lives. And people like her make it harder on younger people like me who need them. I get harassed by people quite often when I have to use my placard. And I’m in the area where someone was shot over one of those spaces with the shooter trying to use stand your ground laws to justify it. It makes it scary to deal with approaching, pissed off people.

If this is even remotely true, I can't believe I'm single, yet a woman who punches her boyfriend in the balls is in a relationship. Rethink your relationship man.

And I (really disabled with handicapped plates in my name) was assaulted by a non handicapped person with a TBI from my head hitting cement) get assaulted for rightfully parking in a handicapped space. Ive lost faith in humanity and people like your girlfriend are the reason why. I hope she gets hit and really is handicapped. Its not a picnic to have to walk with a cane or have multiple surgeries (in my case, spinal surgery while awake) just to live a minimum life. You need to leave her and tell her she is cruel and uncaring. You’ll dodge a bullet. And this comes from someone who went through a divorce because I was (and I quote “Too handicapped to be in a relationship with”). Thank god my second marriage is doing much better. I wanted to marry my current wife even before I knew my ex. So its better than 1st.
