Alabama Woman Stuck In Halloween Costume Fangs
Anna Tew of Mobile, Alabama got a nasty surprise when she tried to remove her Halloween costume this week. Her simple yet spooky look, involving bloody face paint and plastic fangs, turned out to be much more nightmarish than she'd intended.
Try as she might at the end of the night, Ms. Tew could not remove the costume fangs from her mouth.
She'd only used the temporary glue that came with the teeth, but they were just about permanently stuck. She tried her best to get the uncomfortably tight prop out of her mouth, but had to throw in the towel at 2am.
By the next morning she was in severe pain, and sought the help of a dentist with an emergency appointment at Alabama Family Dental. In an interview with WKRG, Tew said, "He talked about drilling. They had a saw, talked about taking them off in sections, and they couldn’t numb it because they were scared they would actually pull my teeth out. So he went in and picked and pulled and I squealed like a baby and they got them out."
All's well that ends well, but let this be a lesson to all of us (even if it's something we were supposed to have learned in kindergarten): When in doubt, don't put it in your mouth.
