Today, I locked myself out of my house without my phone. My parents are out of town, and the only other person with a key is my brother that lives an hour away. I had to use the neighbor kid's phone to call my brother. Then had to sit in the pouring rain for an hour waiting to be let inside. FML

Today, I put in an application to my local market for a job that I desperately needed. I was talking to the manager, he seemed pleased with my application and said he'll call me. As he walks into his private office, I hear the sound of a paper shredder. FML

Today, like every day since the new neighbors moved into the townhouse next door, their newborn won’t stop crying. The room the two toddlers and newborn are in apparently shares a wall with my bedroom, so I hear crying while I work remote, study remote, and try to sleep. FML
