Today, my boss used the restroom at work. She returned and told me I needed to go clean the toilet because "someone left a mess in there." It was her mess. FML

Are you a janitor or do you just work in a small office? Either way, that was a bitch move and she could have cleaned the mess herself. If I trashed a toilet, I would clean it because I would be mortified for someone to see that.

I don't think OP should suck it up. It sounds like if OP is complaining than being a janitor is not OPs job. OP should complain to HR if their boss is making them clean the bathroom and it's not even in their job description.

I work in a cafe and one of my duties is cleaning the toilets. I've had to scrape shit from the insides of toilets. Wipe it off the seat. Some people get it on the floor. One very impressive person managed to get shit on the inside of the toilet lid. I have no clue how.
