Today, I was on a plane flying home and fell asleep. I woke up to my own snoring and everyone on the plane looking at me. FML

Dont worry. 1. Its not like youre gonna see any of those people again. 2. Why should their opinion matter? And 3. Its not like you were the only one in the history of mankind who has done that, Im sure everyone has woken themselves up snoring.

Well I guess that's better than having bad gas and having that recycled through the air systems for everyone to enjoy, that would be way more embarrassing than sawing some logs in your sleep. Don't worry about what everyone else though, you're better than they are anyway.

Damn.. You must snore louder than my ninety three year old great grandfather with sleep apnea. I'm sure right now your experience is embarrassing to you, but in a couple of months you'll find it as funny as the people on the plane did.

For a second there I misread it as you were flying a plane and fell asleep. I was terrified until I realized my error. But on a serious note OP you'll never see those people again so don't let them ruin anything for you.

Actually very little of the air in the plane gets recycled through the air system. Only 15 to 20 percent goes back into the cabin, the rest goes into the jet engines to facilitate with combustion. The rest of the new air comes from outside of the plane or tanks held in the plane.

You cant really blame them, snoring on planes while everyone else is trying to sleep is really annoying, but don't be too embarrassed. Chances are, you're not going to see those people again in your life, so don't sweat it.

That happened to me once but in a bus, I didn't care because I didn't know anyone so don't give it too much attention.

I had a friend who fell asleep on a bus and woke up to a terrible smell with everyone looking at her, so it could've been worse.
