Today, I was forced to look on in utter horror as an old lady backed out of her parking space, kept going well past the turning point, and slammed straight into my car, putting a dent in the front and shattering the headlights. FML

Today, I was driving around a parking lot, looking for an empty spot. Someone was backing out a bit too quickly as I was about to pass by, so I honked to announce myself. The driver instead panicked and reversed into my front bumper. FML

Today, my mom had been in a really bad mood. She got in the car to take me to work, and without thinking, started backing up. The garage door was only half open, and now has a huge dent in it. FML

Today, I was in a car accident. After screaming at the woman for running into me, I got in my car and drove off. As I was driving away, I was staring her down when I ended up rear-ending the person in front of me. FML

Today, an old lady asked me the way to the shopping mall. The shopping mall was not too far away, but I could see that the lady could barely walk so I offered to drive her there. She smacked my car's door into a pole while getting in my car. She didn't even notice that she'd done something wrong. FML

Today, a woman pulled out in front me and I couldn't avoid hitting her. When we pulled off on the side of the road to inspect the damage, she backed into me. My car is only a month old. FML

Today, I tried to back my car into my parking space while some of my neighbors were out by their cars. I accidentally rammed into the retaining wall behind my spot. I was hoping the neighbors didn't notice the huge crunching sound, but they did. FML

Today, a couple of friends and I were driving around town and saw a lady who had accidentally backed her car up onto a concrete wall. Laughing, we all turned to look as we passed and I drove straight into a parked police car that had stopped to help her. FML

I've had that happen except it was a young woman and she kept driving. Cops told me it wasn't worth persuing as I was fine and the legal costs would out way the damages

LOL! A similar story happened in Australia today... this lil' old lady reversed straight out of her car spot, through a fence, onto and across the road managing to dodge all traffic, and into a construction site. They reckon they should charge her, I think she should win an award for the amazing stunt driving.

I think OP is lucky as hell! My cars bumper is in rather bad shape. Some half crazy old lady ramming into the front of my car is just what I need, because then I get a new bumper at the expense of her insurance company that she won't have to pay for anymore because her license will be revoked.

Thank you, kartilino, but no, I'm not stupid. Many older people don't even have an excuse. I know my own grandma doesn't, she just has road rage. Obviously their eyesight, hearing, thinking process, etc. doesn't always work as well anymore. But that doesn't apply to every older human being.
