Right now, lots of 24 year-olds live with their parents. Normally I'd be with #2 and say get a job, but obviously the job market is pretty poor at the moment.

I kinda agree with #4. We can't really say that the it's the OP's fault for living with his parents right now in this troublesome economy. Perhaps it is his fault, but we don't know. I know plenty of people who are graduating with me next week from college who are probably heading in that same direction.

don't worry, a lot of people our age (and above) are still living with their parents. not everyone can afford to be on their own these days.
