Today, I earned 10th place in a national math competition. You would think that's great, but not in my dad's eyes. He told me the day before that if I didn't make the top five, he would disown me. Well, here I come orphanage! FML

If you legally emancipate yourself before he kicks you out, you can get him to pay for your living expenses while you have your own place. I saw it on The Simpsons once. Tony Hawk, and blink-182 were there. Good times.
