Today, it was my turn to read during Bible study. I accidentally said “genitals” instead of “gentiles” in front of a whole bunch of my Baptist friends. I’m not part of that Bible study anymore. FML

You didn't say whether it was your choice, or the groups decision that you leave the group. Either way, if that is all it took to be removed (or quit), it probably wasn't that serious in the first place. Put it behind you, and get on with life.

Honestly, that happened so many times in my Bible study. everyone just found it funny. You will not be the first to say it, nor will you be the last. talk to your leader about it OP. but please don't worry.

That’s ridiculous. Everyone misspeaks sometimes, (unless you did it on purpose, then you obviously deserve it) a kid in my science class said orgasms instead of organisms once.
