Today, my friend and I walked 3 miles to a Starbucks. We went inside, paid for our coffees and walked the 3 miles back to my house. We forgot to pick up our coffees. FML

Obviously you two didn't need the caffeine too bad, eh? Besides, a nice walk is good for you.

That's a latte time and money to spend to end up with nothing to drink

Walking 3 miles for a damn cup of coffee? Incredible determination, but forgetting to pick it up? Great stupidity.

The things people do for Starbucks Coffee.

I hate Starbucks! It is nasty and tastes cheap!

Or maybe they did need the caffeine that bad.

they so totally deserved it dumb @$$es

It's actually quite expensive where I live. I don't hate it, but the white girls on Instagram piss me off when they obsess over it. I prefer Tim Hortons.

You are going to be left behind when noah comes back around&oh yeah your friends too.

How the hell do you BOTH forget the coffee! Wouldn't you realize when you left or something other than realize when you got home!

Cocaines a hell of a drug. However, they were probably dealing with the side effects of marijane.

Obviously, because whenever I smoke the first thing I want to do is a six mile walk round trip for coffee.

I was thinking, "At least one of them is a chick." ...And I'm a chick...not to be sexist or anything...

Well you donated some money to Starbucks. You did a good thing!

If you think about it, not really.

YDI for choosing Starbucks. Personally, I'd rather drink a cup shit. I suppose they're similar in taste, though.

Mister_Triangle 21

We can't all afford the $1 Mcdonalds stuff that you drink

I'd probably rather drink a Maccas coffee over a Stuckbucks, good choice! Nah, in Australia we just actually have good coffee shops, unlike simpletons who prefer the disgusting franchise that is planted in every second shop in the US.

19. So instead of spending one dollar you don't have, you'll pull 10 dollars out of your ass for overpriced coffee?

I think they're referring to those vile self made packets that you buy from a supermarket. I sincerely hope they were referring to that, otherwise they're making even less sense. Starbucks addled the brain, most likely.

as far as I know, SB is planted pretty much all over the world, not only US. But not in Italy. come drink coffee and cappuccino in Italy. That's the original one

coffee pretty much costs the same everywhere here in Australia be it from maccas or Starbucks, michels pattiserie or Gloria jeans. Out of all those, Starbucks tastes the most burnt and bitter. Could be a different coffee bean used here but pretty much everyone I have ever spoken to would never choose Starbucks if another option was available.

22- you can't be more right. Starbucks is freaking expensive and disgusting.

26 just because your Starbucks taste like crap doesn't mean all the others do too

#27 original? Actually for original coffee you'd have to go to the Arabians. They're the ones who created coffee.

Sadly a lot of baristas at Starbucks don't really give a crap if they follow the recipe cards or allow your espresso shot to sit on the counter to go bad. To most of them it's a job, not a calling. I worked at one of them and of the six girls only two of them actually followed the way the drinks are supposed to be made. So I can see where you'd find Starbucks disgusting. But in most places we get to choose between fast food coffee, Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts coffee. Plus, there are a lot of drinks Starbucks makes that are delicious.

You have a very pessimistic attitude towards life.

First off, Starbucks specifically goes for the rustic taste in their coffee. Don't like it? Duh, don't drink it. Second, I've tried Starbucks in a variety of cities around the world, and I am positive that the further you get from Seattle, the worse Starbucks is. It's not so bad in big cities such as New York or London, but the best Starbucks you can get is in Seattle, hands down.

A cup of shit you say?? Was that you in "two girls, one cup?" ;)

Ohh. You must have far more advanced taste buds than we 'simpletons' in the US. Excuse us.

She's right. Coffee in the US is disgusting, in the UK, it's not much better. There used to be a few Starbucks' in Sydney, but they all went out of business because local coffee shops were so much better. I've often thought I'd like to start some coffee shops in the US where the coffee actually tastes good and the baristas actually know how to use espresso machines and froth the milk properly, not sure if it'd catch on.

43- Arabians didn't create coffee, they discovered it. There is a difference.

It really isn't about the brand... It's the person that's preparing your coffee and/or how they were trained.

Idk bout coffee but my parents love it they always have that as first choice...idk if itll apply to the coffees also but whenever i get hot choco its amazing around my house but if i was to go to say florida, DC, Boston, or Penn, they all tasted different >_<

I've been to a few countries and coffeewise Starbucks is dreadful. The simpletons remark was a bit much but I agree coffee in Australia is becoming a huge market. I myself prefer dibella, worked as a barista while studying so I am pretty certain the brand also makes a difference. Anyone can be trained to make good coffee but not all brands are good!

Wow, just wow 22. You're turning differing preferences of coffee into some sort of nationalist statement. I'm not a big fan of Starbucks myself, but I think you're retarded.

Could have always taken the bus or a taxi.

I was thinking the same thing!

That would have been the smart thing to do.
