Slam a bunch of coffee and make your friends think you’re not a wet blanket. You should hire Jennifer Lopez to help you plan your wedding. Didn’t you see her infomercial/documentary?

Just tell them that while the thought is appreciated, you were serious about not wanting a party and then leave them to figure out the rest by themselves. It's their own fault for not listening to you in the first place. It's your wedding, not theirs.

Nothing beats sleep. I hope you managed to get your rest, eventually.

I feel like this is an 'honest mistake' and I hope you went along with it and you will appreciate their love and efforts as soon as you've had a good snooze

Maybe you should stop working so much overtime and spend less on the wedding. It isn't healthy working so much anyway.
