Today, I was uploading photos to my Facebook, when I suddenly realised that I accidentally uploaded a naked photo of myself. Panicking, I rushed to delete it, just as my computer crashed majorly. Few hours later, 400 "friends" have already "liked" the photo. FML

God, I never realised how bitter and sexually frustrated the internet is... Do you notice the inverted commas around "friends"? They clearly show that they are not thought of as close friends: rather they are people the OP knows. Knowing 400 people well enough to add them on Facebook is nothing, and it doesn't even require being a Facebook whore. If you've got people from your old school year, people from college/university, and then people from work on top of that, you can easily have that many 'friends'.
But still, YDI for not checking before you uploaded them :L.

This FML is fake. It is impossible to "accidentally" upload pictures to Facebook. Whenever you upload pictures you have to review them before anyone can actually see them.
Plus I don't care how many "friends" you have there is no way 400 people "liked it" in just a couple hours. Your also an attention whore who has to have thousands of "friends" on Facebook because you add every single person you see on the street and just so people will think your cool. I only have about 100 friends and I actually know and like all of them.

2- phone a (real) friend with your login/password to delete, change password

But I call BS, when you upload photos to FB it will let you write captions for each photo you uploaded and THEN you can PUBLISH, there is no "accidentally" uploading naked photos. You had two steps to get the photo published. Don't bullshit when the chances of you getting called out for bullshitting are so high.

Quite frankly, I have to say that it is pretty hard to upload something accidentally, unless you are one of those people who uploads a whole cameras worth of photos at the same time, in either case YDI for not paying enough attention to what you do and don't want to show people. Second, if most people like it, that makes it not an FML. Third, to get 400 likes in 2 hours is pretty much impossible. For all the people who claim that it is totally possible because someone could get 1000 friends in college, it doesn't matter. I don't have 1000 friends on facebook, hell I don't even have 700, and I still only pay attention to less than half of them. Having lots of friends don't mean all of them will look at your page in a 2 hour period. In fact most of them probably won't look at your page for a few months. Totally fake.

Gonna have to call fake on this. Usually Facebook has any inappropriate photos deleted within about 30 seconds of the photo posting. I know because I've had it happen on two different instances, and I have friends it's happened to. Party photos have pictures of an ass or a tit in there and it gets posted, and then you get a red flag within about a minute and a message saying Facebook deleted it and not to do it again.

Ok fine, people liked the picture. But stupid enough to have a picture like that uploaded? And fb shows you which pictures you're uploading. So either you were dumb enough to check all the boxes or you're friggin blind. Either way, that was a dumb mistake.
Why would you have a naked picture of yourself anyways? Take one, and keep it to yourself.
And it's possible to have 400 friends. Just not to have THAT many on in a short amount of time like that enough to "like" the picture.

Oh my goodness. When did it become a crime to have a naked picture of yourself saved on your computer? I had a boyfriend that I used to not be able to see for periods of time. Granted, I'd take pictures where you couldn't flat out see my face, but I'd take pictures and send them to him while he was away. If she had one saved on her camera for a boyfriend or whoever, and just had them automatically uploaded to her computer and then added all of them to Facebook, then there you go.
It's possible, but I doubt she decided to take some centerfold photo for her own personal collection and had it saved on her computer so she could look at it whenever, like when she was in class, at Starbucks, with friends, etc.

facebook has an automatic filter that removes photos and deletes accounts if naked photos are posted.
... it has a filter that magically detects nudity? How would a simple script recognize that? How would it know the difference between tan lines and a bikini? How would it know that a fat dude with manboobs does not need a bikini, but a girl with small titties does? If it's even possible to make such a sophisticated piece of software right now, I suspect it would require gruesome amounts of processing power to run. Afaik, facebook pictures are not automatically moderated, only checked if there is a complaint.
If I'm wrong, then how do you explain that this magical filter allows copyrighted material such as logos to pass and be used as profile pics? That's certainly a violation of their policy.
Haha, taking naked pictures of yourself is so un-british it's unreal, we just don't partake in that kind of activity, unless your significant other took the picture...that happens a lot, then you break up, and they show everyone..

okay all you people saying that 400 friends on facebook is unlikely are all socially retarded, i have over 1,000 friends and know each and everyone of them IN PERSON. if i have never met or don't know a person, i ignore their friend request. once you add up school friends, camp, family, college friends ect. it ends up being a lot of people. so 400 isn't even that much in a facebook context.

you guys all are extremely antisocial if you haven't made over 400 friends in the course of your lifetime. i have 515, and yeah, i do know every single one of them. and i know more than just their names. i know where i met them, how i met them, and i communicate with most of them regularly. if anyone has anything to say opposing the aforementioned, you seriously are antisocial. the secret to making friends is actually walking outside of your completely boxed in house, and talking to people.

Having nudes on facebook is a TOS violation and they would have their profile deleted if the pics weren't removed in time. You should have taken an epic [CTRL+ALT+C][CTRL+ALT+PRNTSCRN][CTRL+V][CTRL+S] of that while it lasted.
