Today, I went to my friend Alex's house. I didn't know exactly where he lived, but I thought I was okay when I asked if Alex was there and they said yes. It was the wrong house and the wrong Alex. FML

How is that his fault? Did you know exactly where all your friends lived within seconds of meeting them?
If it makes you feel any better, OP, one of my friends routinely walks up to the wrong house on my street. It's about 10 houses up and looks identical to mine, and twice she actually walked into the house. Oops.

I always find out where my friends live before going to their houses... which the OP clearly should have done. OP, It's called an address, it helps identify houses, and it's usually somewhere on the house itself.
I must agree with 4 and 26. If you're going to someone's house, you find out where they live, not knock on every door until (you think) you've got it.

OMG, there were 2 Alex's in the same area. What are the odds, seeing as it's such a rare name. Maybe if their name was something common like Cornelius I wouldn't be surprised, but two Alex's, woah, I agree FYL to the nth degree!

I have read the exact same FML before. They even used the name Alex in the original one. The FML moderators have been replaced with robots I think to randomly select ones that are grammatically correct.

it really did happen, but i wanted to see if people were stupid enough to let it get posted.
but going to the wrong house is stupid. that's happened to me a lot. just say, sorry wrong house. and go find the right house. it's not too difficult.

Whoever clicked yes to this should be punched in the face, as hard as possible. This isn't an FML AT ALL.
I showed up at my house and two complete strangers were there, you have no idea what it was like. This is definitely FML worthy, especially if you were there for one of the guys to show you his ass tattoo. Fucking incredible night
