Nasty, maybe you should stop by a doctor. D:

No! Ratatouille made your food!
Fake, it's just a variation of an old FML that said "Today, I decided to go back to the Chinese food restaurant I liked a lot that I went to yesterday. A sign on the door said they were closed do to a rat infestation"
So? Just cuz there was a similar one doesnt mean it couldnt happen..?
And OP.. I threw up a little :x thats nasty. FYL.
No, it's fake because no college newspaper would have such pathetic writing ability.
yeah... you really should!
Was it Taco Bell? Their super cheap tacos probably use rat shit as the meat.
Oh god Alan. Nice visual. This is why I'm vegetarian. Well, one of the reasons I'm thankful I am.
*High-fives redbluegreen*
-high fives back-
Whadda I be doin' that'd be high-five'n worth'n?
I've been vegetarian most of my life. :D
Ohhh. That reminds me, I saw you were pseudo-vegetarian on your MySpace!
Kudos!
Yep! I try to eat as little meat as possible. I'll eat stuff that has some meat in it, but never steaks or hot dogs or burgers. This is a very recent thing, though.
Ooh, you've seen my Myspace? Or did I know that already? Jeez, maybe I should get some sleep.
Also, about the thing about me on your FML profile: YAY!
Never mind! I get it now: I just added you! There's a light bulb over my head that just came on...
I actually cannot eat any sort of hamburger or steak or hot dog without getting incredibly sick. Not that I enjoy it anyway, but it's a big downfall if I ever did decide to eat meat someday.
And yes, I added you boo. Oh my cleverness!
:D
Yeah, I get food poisoning very very easily, and it occurred to me that it's always from meat. So, I just stopped eating large amounts of meat.
Did you order cocoa pebbles ;)?
You had tried everything on the menu at least once the day before? L2grammar, THEN post to FML.
Did you mean that he tried everything on the menu one day before eating at the restaurant ? Learn logic then post your comment
Hopefully your review didn't encourage other people to eat there! Then your reputation could be fucked too!
Clever...

Now, I know how fecal you food critics can be but I just know you enjoyed the custurd. Did you try the bruschitta appetizer? I hope you enjoyed the grey poopon for with your sandwich. Oh and the fruit sorbet is a lovely pellet cleanser, or so I've heard.

you ate everything on their menu...?
Are you kidding when you say college ? You've managed to fail at two things simultaneously with your post. It's not funny and your grammar's horrible. Thankfully, there are computer programs out there to use, as well as editors who still sometimes use their brains. Good luck avoiding crossing paths with rats and humor in the future.
Wow, the standards of your school's paper must be even lower than ours.
It's almost as if we fail just a little bit less in your shadow. Thank you.
Really? You write a column? For a college paper? Please tell me that it's a community college or something(not that there's anything wrong with community college. I attended one when I was 16), and please tell me that you are not an English or Journalism major.
Take a couple of courses in Latin or German. You're grammar is awful, and either language will help tremendously, I'm sure. If you go into a career that requires any writing proficiency, I'm sorry, you're not gonna hack it.
And you really should go see a doctor. You are at particular risk for leptospirosis and a certain species of salmonella, as well as a few other nasty little diseases. The sooner you go get checked out, the better.
Fail. If you're going to criticize someone's grammar, at least do it properly. "You're grammar is awful"? Yeah, so is yours, hot_mess88.
"I'm gonna use you're for everything that sounds like your because it looks more professional on the internet!!!"
Was anyone else reminded of that episode of the Simpsons where Bart and Marge find out the tea shop has been shut down because of rat droppings in their cakes?
Wow. Three sentences and three horrendous grammatical errors. You write for a school newspaper, you say? Can you tell me which one so I can be sure not to send my kids there. By the way, you should never use the present perfect (have done...) with a finished past time---that's what the simple past (I did ...) is for.
Did you enjoy the food? Did you write a good review about the place? lmfao that sucks. may want to go to the doctor just to be sure your ok.
TampaBayJJ?! Okay, please tell me that this happened a long time ago, because now I'm afraid to eat anywhere in my city.
I'm surprised that you're a contributor to your college paper with those grammar mistakes - you're using completely wrong tenses.
ew! I live in Tampa! what restaurant was it??!?
So do I!!
Let's see... it's near College Town, and they serve food all day. Gods, I hope it's not the Tijuana Flats on Fowler - I eat there all the time.
Ah, priceless...

You're a journalist for your college paper? They way you wrote your FML sounds like you're in 4th grade english.
English*
;=)

+ 1 As I said in post # 39...
And, it can be English or english. Look it up.
I've always been under the impression that English was a proper noun/adjective derived from a proper noun... and therefore capitalized. I've done a quick Google search and found nothing to the contrary.
Enlighten us, please, kukopia. :)
WTF? You say you write a column for a college paper but say "I have tried everything on the menu at least once that day."
The FML is as lame as your english. Douche
Terrible grammar aside, shouldn't a FOOD CRITIC realize he was eating a shit-ton of rat droppings?? Turns out this guy sucks at both his jobs.
Man, BRUTAL grammar! Learn to write properly if you're actually writing for a college paper! That, and I have to agree with xilix, htf do you not notice rat droppings in your food? FTL bro.
hey, you're going to have the most popular food column in the entire newspaper! Go with it!
I don't know why people are freaking out on the grammar. I've seen way the hell worse in large city papers.

You're a writer for your college paper and you have horrible grammar. Uh huh
I have a hard time believing that you write for your school paper with such terrible grammar. Unless you go to a really crappy college.

To everyone saying he can't be writing for a good school's paper with such atrocious grammar: I go to a university with an excellent journalism school, and our student paper is still full of grammatical errors. Lots of good writers rely on their editors for proofreading, and their grammar suffers for it.
That being said, I still blame Florida's educational system. Everyone I know from Florida is grossly underprepared for college, no matter how smart they are.

you're a writer? for a college newspaper?! i don't think you could have written this more poorly if you tried. or if you randomly put those words down on a piece of paper. or were 5.
I'm skeptical about this. If rat droppings were found in the FOOD(not near the food, but IN it), it would be in the news(there was a BIG story about it last year). I live in the Tampa area and I haven't heard anything like this anywhere.
Also, unless you only had a few bites of each thing, it's unlikely that someone could eat everything on a menu in one day, unless it was a very small menu(in which case, it seems unlikely that a college newspaper would bother writing a review of the restaurant in the first place)
But if it is true, FYL

Wasn't there an FML like this posted a few months ago? I'm sure there was. It was a guy who went to dinner at a restaurant and liked it so much, he went back for lunch. The next day, he came back and there was a sign on the door that they had been shut down for food contamination or something. So, uh... YDI for stealing other peoples' FMLs.
Yeah, because this kind of stuff only happens once in a million years, right?
Pfft, shut up.
Totally. Bad restaurants are so rare, right? Right?
Umm, eww. That's nastyy. How could you not NOTICE that?

now I know the origins of the phrase: "I don't eat that crap!"
#60 - On 09/15/2009 at 5:13pm by timothyD12
Did you know there is an allowable amount of insects/feces per some unit of measurement in food supplies? (It's like square inch or volume, I can't remember).
Even if they were "clean" you'd still be eating shit. You better thank mother nature for your wonderful stomach acids.
You write for a food column and yet you had the audacity to say "I have eaten at the previous day"..? Learn grammar and pay attention to what you're eating.
Yeah, you might want to invest in one of those mini black lights for the future.
Sorry.
I never said I write for an English paper.
I go to school in Warsaw, English is my 3rd language. ( I use to reside in Tampa for 3 months, hence the name)
To clear up a few things.
I only took a few bites of each item on the menu, so do not think I am a glutton.
I never said I write for a college in the united states or even a english speaking college.
I apologize for my poor writing, English is my third language and I am still trying to learn.
The restaurant was very clean and the food looked normal...so I don't know how I could of avoided this situation.
@ #55. I didn't steal anyone's post, unless you think that a bad restaurant experiences has only happened to one person in the whole entirety of the world...
You should've used a semicolon.
this is bullshit. it is fake, your justifications make that clear. you claim no to be in the united states and that you dont write in english yet your fml state is set to florida which isnt a default. you would of had to personalize it to make it say that in which case you wouldnt pick florida, you would pick the country you are in. you lying piece of shit
