Thats terrible! You deserve it!
Think about it. If you saw a random car in the parking lot taking up three places, how would you feel? I think he did the right thing. FYL
FYL dude. If I saw three spaces being taken by a large vehicle like a hummer, I would have immediately thought rich bastard. If it was a minivan, I would have thought retarded family (not special needs, but stupid). I don't think it is an excuse to use three spaces as a famnily member I have uses her disabled child for any benefit she can get (discounts, more parking spaces, ext.). If someone left her a note, I would of thanked the guy.
I totaly agree this is teriable. Who would say something like that in the first place?place deserve it!!!!!!!
But why not say "nice parking job, jackass" instead of wishing disabilities on someone's kids? For cripe's sake, the kids didn't park the car.
I agree that you might feel that a person's an asshole for taking up that many spaces, but the note the OP left was beyond rude as well as unnecessarily insulting to to people with mental disabilities and their families. Personally, I wouldn't feel like it would be my place to correct a person's seemingly poor manners through a note on a windshield (especially in a public parking area; it would be different if someone blocked my driveway), but even if I did, there's no need to write it the way the OP did. He could have gotten the same point across in a politer way.
so what does "ext." mean? and it's would HAVE not would OF. contracted, it's would've.
I don't think the author deserves it. The other person could just take 2 parking spaces. I don't see the need for 3.
I think the author just write the retarded thing out of anger and its just a coincidence. However I think the other person is going to be fuming mad.
I wish everyone that says there are always tons of handicap parking spots would have to actually USE them, just for a month. Even better would be if they'd have to actually use one that would allow for room for a ramp or lift to come down and have room to get a wheelchair off of it. I couldn't tell you the number of times I've either had to park at the very back of the lot, or take up 2 spots in the middle so that I could let my ramp down and get off of it because either there were no free handicap spots or none were free that would accommodate me. Btw, I'm a wheelchair user, and I am NOT "retarded." I didn't SEE the woman the OP posted about, but I'd venture to say she needed extra room on the side to have enough maneuvering room to get her son IN the car, and extra room in the back to load the wheelchair in the back. Those aren't easy to lift.

You're a perfect example of an ASSHOLE. Yeah, I'd be mad too if I saw 3 cars taking up a space. But did you have to leave that horrid note on her car? No. FUCK YOU! I hope YOUR kids come out retarded!
you guys are all idiots. think of it this way. if someones gonna park in 3 lanes, chances are they need it. if its 2 lanes, then they just suck at driving.
OP: YDI def. you never leave a note like that. ever
He did the right thing. It's called taking the child out of the car then parking it. You don't have to park right away and fuck two other cars out of a spot.
there are parking spaces designed for people who need extra room for wheelchairs so FYL that this person didn't park there and instead took up 3 spaces
#168 - On 09/07/2009 at 1:52pm by jmspin
159: And leaving an obviously crippled, dependent child alone while you drove around parking the car? And leaving the child alone again while backing the car out to reload the child? That'll solve EVERYTHING!
How the HELL did he do the right thing? Sure, it's infuriating when people take up more than one parking spot, and it's okay to leave a note - but don't wish retardation on someone's kids, for goodness sake. That part was completely unnecessary and for that he deserves it.
dude so its ok to want peoples kids to be retarted?? FYL cuz ur a retard.
attack of the grammar nazis!
And who's going to watch the kid while his mom parks? A lot can happen in the 30-45 sec. it takes to park a car.
If the driver was taking up 3 handicapped spaces, it was probably okay.
If the driver was taking up 3 regular spaces, then the OP did the right thing. It was just a coincidence about the retarded kid comment.
And it's always possible that the driver saw the OP write the note, read it, and staged a fake "crippled person" scene to mess with the OP.
How the HELL would someone fake a crippled kid situation? "Oh hmmm, well I have this extra wheelchair I've been pushing around all day, great, I can finally put this to use. Oh, excuse me, ma'am? Can I borrow your kid for a few minutes? No, I'm not going to hurt him, I just want him to pretend to be physically and mentally handicapped so I can play a prank on someone." Yeah. Seems likely.
And it doesn't matter that it was a "coincidence" about the retarded kid comment. That's a terrible thing to say. I'd have more sympathy for the OP if he'd just written "nice park job, asshole!" and then saw the reason. Though, as others have posted, it still could have occurred to him that if someone's taking up THREE spaces (not two), there's a good chance they have a reason for doing so.
And I don't know about you all, but by me, handicapped spaces aren't really bigger than regular ones. They're just closer to the door. I'm not saying you're all wrong, just that I was surprised to read all those comments about having handicapped spaces for that purpose, because they're not like that where I live. Certainly not big enough for a wheelchair, anyway.

Yes, I'm sure this person carries around a spare wheelchair in her car just for moments like this, because it's everyday that some fool decides to wish retardation on her children for her parking.
To the OP: Why would you ever wish that on a persons children? You know, you're probably just like half of the people I go to school with, thinking you're cool with these types of responses. Oh yes, let's go wish horrible things on people and their children. Learn some manners.
I agree but he didnt need to leave a note like that. If it were me I would have just said something along the line of "You are a dumbass, go back to driving school" theres no way that karma can come back and bite you for that. But anytime you wish something on someone theres just a tiny chance it might turn out, or already be true. FYL for having to deal with idiots that dont understand the concept of "Handicapped Parking" but YDI for leaving that type of note.
Well , it wasn't the right way .
It was rude !
So true #260. It's not that OP got upset, it's what he decided to do about it that ended up biting him back.
@273 and 260...not at all. way to miss the point completely.
the wording on the note was stupid and thats the only reason its YDI. the note itself is fine.
@245: This comment of yours is so absurd, I can't even begin to understand how you manage to function in every day life.
@159 - If your child is crippled, or otherwise impaired, what would EVER possess you to take them out of the car and just LEAVE them somewhere, alone, in a parking lot, while you parked the car?
soooo you're saying that if she was sitting in the middle of a parking lot in the way of everyone else and taking the time to take her child out of the car you wouldn't be like, "hey lady, why don't you park and take your kid out? that isn't a parking spot."
thinkkkk about it.
People stop bitching about what this guy said, it's completely true. You should never exploit your child, whether they give you parking spots, or tons of money. And that goes the same for your parents, especially when they're a lot older, you should never exploit them to get a better parking spot, or better benefits. Some people actually are this rude. Don't thumbs down this person for mentioning it, just be upset about it.
the right thing to do is punching out his windows taking his tires and putting a note "sorry Im not your mother"
#335 - On 03/10/2010 at 12:39am by bezach
also the note can be used in court now
#336 - On 03/10/2010 at 12:42am by bezach
hahahahahhaa I got so many Lols from this one.
You're horrible for even saying that in the first place. Shame on you.
I agree.
I mean, if the driver HAD of been just some person parking like that with no excuse whatsoever, I'd never want him to have a handicapped child.
You have to think, do you really want someone like that responsible for them?
#51 - On 09/07/2009 at 10:40am by Ret
YDI so much. That's so disrespectful and RUDE. :/ Why would you even hope that upon someone? And imagine if her son actually WAS mentally challenged, but he could understand the note? That would be so insulting and he would probably remember that. The OP makes me so mad, but I still don't "hope his children are retarded." -.- I feel sorry for ANY child that has to be/will be/is being raised by the OP, imagine how he treats them.
And you're really stupid because most of the time people park like that because they are handicapped or it's an emergency or they need to. If you were putting a note on her windshield, wouldn't you SEE the little "handicap" sticker/thing that hangs from the mirror in the front? Or see how there's a giant space in the back and a ramp for the wheelchair? If the car was BIG enough to take up 3 spaces, that would have been another clue it could be for a handicap person.
I hope your children are born retarded you nihilist cunt
good job, jerk. hope YOUR children come out retarted!
How was he supposed to know that they actually had a crippled son?
If you just saw a random car parked across 3 spaces you'd think they were idiots too.
Yeah, but that doesn't excuse him leaving the note. It's just fucking common sense. Think before you act.
Because obviously she already has a special needs child.
#12, at least it was ONLY a note, some of the other FML's have been where people have spit or keyed the other person's car...
"Obviously she already had a special needs child?" How is that obvious? To reiterate what some of the commentators have said, when you see a random car taking up THREE parking spaces, you don't really think about the why, or at least most people don't, but the what is this asshole doing taking up a place I could have parked in.
OP, I feel for you, I think the mother should have put a note on the dashboard saying why she's taking up room
That may be a bit of overkill, but what about those spots that they have just for this purpose that nobody ever uses? what are they called....uh....handicapped spots? That way if the OP left a note they knew something was wrong with someone in the car :P
#35 - On 09/07/2009 at 10:24am by stereopump
i agree with #35, isn't that why there are handicapped parking spaces? or shouldn't there have been some indication that there was someone handicapped? honestly, if i had seen a non-expensive car taking up three spaces i would have thought it was one of those annoying parents who act like they will be gone for five minutes to drop their kids off somewhere and end up having their car sit there for half an hour. but i wouldn't have been stupid enough to wish retardation on the kids.
Wow you're no better than the OP....idiot...seriously who would wish that on anyone
#217 - On 09/07/2009 at 5:57pm by angel0733
lol! the irony :p
(people, chill the fuck out)
Why?
If someone left that on my window and I had a special needs child, I'd be horribly sad,
and then I'd figure out which asshole left it there and kick their ass in.
he had no idea they actually had a retarded son. so it's not his fault.
Yes it is. Who the fuck says stuff like that? The lot obviously wasn't full, so it's not like it involved him in any way, shape, or form.
It's his fault for even saying that to anyone.
If the driver actually had of been parking like that because of their own ignorance, leaving a note like that would still be awful - think about the child!
Who would want someone like that being responsible for them?
#28 - On 09/07/2009 at 10:21am by Ret
hannah_brook when does crippled mean special needs? that's what you automatically assumed? there are plenty of fully functioning non-RETARDED cripples, so you need to get over yourself and stop posting 92020 times on the same message. you're the one being horrible for assuming this kid was "special needs"
It's safe to assume the child had mental disability, because of the wording of the post. Special needs is just more polite way of saying retarded.
It's like calling people with dwarfism midgets. It's rude. So they are commonly referred to as "little people"
it's not only rude, but time have changed and (especially) advocates for the special needs community have realized that the disability does not define the person. it is a child with special needs (whatever those needs may be) and not a "retarded" child or individual. "retarded" actually means slow, but it has been used incorrectly (and often negatively) so many times that people do not actually mean slow when they say this word, but rather they mean "stupid". the correct wording for "mental retardation" is intellectual disability.
This is exactly the kind of watering down of language that causes this sort of ambiguity in the first place. Let's consider the etymology behind the word:
retardation
1426, "fact or action of making slower in movement or time," from L. retardationem, from retardare "to make slow, delay, keep back, hinder," from re-, intensive prefix, + tardare "to slow" (see tardy). Retarded "mentally slow" first recorded 1895. Retard (v.) first recorded 1489, from O.Fr. retarder (13c.); offensive noun meaning "stupid person" (with accent on first syllable) is from 1960s slang.
That's a pretty recent change, and it's quite localized. It would be interesting to note whether the perversion of the word came before the establishment of an organized "special needs" community or not. Most of the time when this sort of stigmatization occurs it is only because some folks on the receiving end gradually start to take issue with it and draw more attention to it. It is only rude and offensive as much as the recipient allows it to be, and quite frankly, finding new ways to paper over issues linguistically that people don't want to be reminded of is no less offensive.
Conversely, in many other places in the world the same terminology has been used consistently without change, and with no associated stigma. As such, perhaps the "special needs" society needs to spend more time worrying about how it conducts itself and what sort of attention it wants from the rest of society rather than attempting to consistently regard everything as a pejorative.

I saw the novel and assumed it was pimpin88... But I was wrong!
Anyway, NO HE DIDN'T DO THE RIGHT THING!
Fine, it's okay to be annoyed, I would too, I'd be like WTF, LEARN TO PARK!
I'd THINK it, though, which is different than leaving a note wishing ill upon her children.
He doesn't even know the lady, geez!
And anyway, if you're GOING to leave a note, it should be something polite.
But it doesn't even matter anyway, because you were already parked and walking.
It wasn't affecting you. So shut up and have some respect for people.
it doesnt matter is they had reatarded childeren or not. you NEVER leave a note on someones car that says that!!!!!!! you asshole!
special needs doesn't just mean mentally retarded. I could also mean physically disabled.
46# Is it windy up there on your high horse?
I love how you take the moral high ground then go and call kids with intellectual disabilities 'retards'.
Nobody should ever use that word, and that's why the OP deserves it. It's disgusting enough that people use that word to insult others and describe things they don't like, But I can't imagine why ANYONE would wish that on another human being.
I say another human being when really, that implies you are one, which you are not.
You are nothing but filth.
Why not write "Park properly next time!" Or something if you were going to go pretend someone elses parking was your business, but instead you went to a whole new level of scum.
Oooohhh.... :0
OP: Fyourlife. If that was me I'd never utter the word 'retarded' again.
But seriously, notes are never good, there are so many things that could go wrong. Examle i read an FML that says the OP left a nasty note and spit on the handle of a car that turned out to belong to his girlfriend's parents.
So yeah... next time write it in anger and rip it up
@148
On behalf of all of with intellectual ability, i ask that you please unwedge whatever is stuck up your ass. He can say retard if he wants. So can anyone else here. RETARD RETARD RETARD. oh, am i disgusting now because of my word choice?
haha, you gave me a good laugh. chill.
yes but you were already a disgusting person before you used that word. Now you are only more so.
I hope you ran on over.. and somehow took that note off.
Your just a Dick, even if they hadn't had a disabled child
lol
#27 - On 09/07/2009 at 10:21am by horseXtreme
That is totally not your fault. She should have parked in a HANDICAPPED spot. Not taken up 3 regular spots, that's why handicapped spots are there.
I was thinking the same thing. And it's not your fault; you didnt' know.
actually yes, it is totally his fault. If he hadn't been a stupid asshole, there wouldn't have been an FML in the first place.
actually, it's the parent's fault for not parking in a HANDICAPPED spot. what the fuck do you think those are there for, anyway?
So because she parked in a non-handicap spot she deserved the cruel note? I think fucking not.
no, because she took up three spaces that 3 other people could use instead of one, she deserved it.
see? should i say it slower?
Too many negative votes, comment buried. Show the comment.
I think fucking yes. That's exactly what she needed. It's not everyone elses problem that her kid is retarded. Chromosomes rule!
That's what I meant dipshit.
If she's taking up 3 non-handicapped spaces she has to be aware of the fact some people will take issue with it. Even if people don't normally leave angry letters on windshields, she still runs the risk of being ticketed with parking citations and so on. At the very least, given that this is an exceptional circumstance, she should have had a sign in the window, used handicapped plates, or some other visible marker to at least make it apparent why she is parking that way in the first place. If the OP had seen any of these indicators, this likely never would have transpired. Special parking spaces exist for a reason, if you aren't going to (are aren't able to) use them, you at least should have the common sense to inform people as to why. She's fortunate not to have been fined or towed, an angry letter is the least of her concerns.
There isn't ALWAYS a handicapped parking space ready, they're usually more in malls and things.
It's totally possible that it could have been in a small area without them.
#42 - On 09/07/2009 at 10:29am by Ret
I agree with paulm, taking up 3 regular parking spaces without leaving some form of marker to indicate why is almost asking for someone to be angry or to have your car towed/get a parking ticket. With my decreasing lack of faith in people, I could see this woman using her son as an excuse to get out of having to pay related parking violation tickets or having her car towed. I could be totally wrong and this could be the sweetest lady ever, but people seem to use everything and anything as an excuse to bend the rules to their liking, especially if it involves someone who is disabled (I HAVE seen it happen before).
And to Ret, that's why paulm said they should have still put up the disability signs to give a reason for taking up more than one parking space.
I know, but I posted while paulm did, I was talking to the people above him.
#49 - On 09/07/2009 at 10:38am by Ret
But you didn't say it, and she did deserve it, so who's the dipshit? Seriously this isnt a kitchen, shut up and go do something a woman is supposed to instead, this isn't your place.
Oh, I was probably posting around the same time too I guess, so all I saw was paulm's comment and not yours when I hit reply.
And #74, why the sexism? I don't know who it's directed at, but really...there's no need to use sexism, especially when it makes very little sense at all.
What do you mean "why the sexism", why not? Holds true. People were happy when women had no rights.
All right, yes, there are handicapped parking spots, however, it was completely unnecessary for him to leave that note, even if they didn't have a crippled kid.
Uh, yes it is his fault. You NEVER wish retardation or any other handicaps on other people.
Wow, I hope you realize you're a huge dickhead.
#16 - On 09/07/2009 at 10:15am by USArocker
so? he shouldn't have been a dick about it.
Damn FML... I don't wanna reply to THIS comment
Good job, we need more assholes in the world.
Wait, no we don't. :|
@26
people who actually have a dick do?
yea total @sshole move in the first place. Yes its not his fault that he didnt know but whos that big of a dick to consume some of their time to write such a thing anyways...YDI and i hope u learn from it.
I put FYL because how could you have known?...That's why they have handicapped parking spaces. I put YDI because that was a stupid ass note to leave. Even if the woman did not have a disabled child, that's such a dumb thing to write.
#33 - On 09/07/2009 at 10:24am by star_ver
wow ur such a dick. you were right at leaving a messgae i guess. but having it say somethinglike that is downright awful. i hope you never even are able to have kids because you dont deserve them, and if you do i hope you finally realize what that person must be going through. YDI indeed. and your life really is f***** because your are a tard
saying he doesnt even deserve kids makes you just as "awful" as him leaving the note. who knows? maybe he CANT, and you've now offended him.
lol you hypocrite you.
Umm, can someone tell me how it takes 3 spaces to put someone in a wheelchair into a car?
it takes 3 spaces because that is the length of the car. if the woman had parked in one space, the way that most people park, and a car had parked directly next to her, she might not have had room between the two cars to maneuver a wheelchair.
why the fuck does everyone in these comments assume that the lady's kid was retarded? last time i checked crippled meant "a person or animal with a physical disability, particularly one who is unable to walk because of an injury or illness." cripple doesn't automatically = retarded. so stop fucking complaining about how her kid was! it doesn't take three spaces to load a wheelchair for her CRIPPLED (not retarded) son, and that should be the issue. NOT HIS FAULT. all the "retard" supporters, stfu. you don't know the whole situation so get over yourselves.
The problem is that the language has been bent out of shape by whatever politically correct terminology happens to be in vogue at the time. Whether the kid was mentally or physically retarded is not explicitly stated, but it is a retardation any which way you wish to frame it. Calling it anything else is just a matter of not offending sensibilities in whatever environment or culture you live in. You certainly can't blame the language for societal ineptitude.
a lot of car parks don't have disabled spaces.
And OP why are you suddenly the king of parking? Do you have a cape? Do you have a special notebook where you invent these incredibly clever and witty notes to put on people's cars? You are lame.
I can see how you would be pissed at someone taking up three spaces, but honestly, YDI for putting a note like that on the car. I mean, if you were to leave a message, it should have been something more professional that that. But I'll stop there, 'cause I'm sure you're embarassed enough as it is. It's not the end of the world. :)
You should be happy, your wish came true! That rarely happens. I would've gone up to the owner, snapped my fingers in my face with attitude and been all like , "Oh no you didn't girlfriend".
Btw, this situation isn't ironic, it's coincidental...retards.
YDI you horrible person ;(
I can understand why you'd leave a note saying something about the fact that they took up 3 spaces, but I think it is inappropriate to ever say something like I hope your kids turn out retarded. that's a cruel thing to say to anyone, wether or not their child is crippled, has special needs, or is perfectly fine, or if they don't have a child at all. there's a lot of better ways to express your anger with words than saying "I hope your kids turn out retarded"
YDIYDIYDIYDIYDIYDIYDIYDIYDIYDIYDIYDIYDIYDIYDIYDIYDIYDIYDIYDIYDIYDIYDI
why would you ever say something like that? if the parking lot was only 4 spaces and a car was taking up 3 of them, then go into the store (or wherever you are) and speak with a manager. but if it's 3 spaces out of 100, there's no need for you to complain. you are an awful person with no sense of decency, and you deserve any guilt and shame you now feel.
wow u dumbass. probably all the other handicapped spaces were gone. u should feel like shit. don't try to defend him by saying he didn't know. only a jackass mofo would leave a note . u should always give ppl the benefit of a doubt . u never know someone's circumstance.
ydi
You are very rude to be leaving notes like that. Even if the owner did not have a "crippled child" like you stated, you did not have to leave such bulgar notes. You totally deserve it. Ask yourself what kind of person you are.
#61 - On 09/07/2009 at 10:49am by mia367
Retarded is used so . . . Unthoughtfully now. Being retarded severely ruins ones life, and makes it extremely hard to get along in social communities. Retarded doesn't just mean stupid, or moronic, it is a mental condition - and it's hard to get places you'd want to in life. Also, if it is the woman you're annoyed with for parking over 3 parking spaces, write a bloody note about her, not about someone else: who in this scenario, or in a scenario where (s)he did not exist, completely innocent.
The police would not walk up to the woman, and smack her around the face for parking over three spaces. You should not curse people, especially ones that were never involved.
You're were very stupid, inconsiderate, and unthoughtful in this scenario. Let this be a lesson to you that will help you in future life. Be more thoughtful. YDI!
sorry, tried to reply to a post above.
so I don't get the fml in this you put a smartass note because you thought you were kool but then want to feel bad. maybe if you weren't a coward in the first place and waited for the driver instead of leaving a note you wouldn't have this little moral problem
Karma is going to kick your ass for this one.
fuck off with your bullshit, no one wants this shit here, and obviously no ones going to look at your stupid blog unless they're as retarded as OP.
Although some people would do that just because they think they are special, you should NEVER leave a note that wishes someone's kids be retarded. Just remember karma will come back and bite you in the butt. I volunteer with special needs children and I just can't handle the word Retard. I have removed it from my vocabulary!
i can see that...
so much so, you actually capitalised it.
no your in the right here. that's why they have HANDICAP spaces. just for shit like this. your fine
Wow, MY wishes never get granted that fast.
If I saw a car taking up 3 spaces I wouldn't do that. Jeez, you all are negitive nancys. It's not killing you is it? Let it be.
That's a really immature way to handle that situation. If you saw somethin like that, honestly you should be man enough to either ignore it or do something more responsible.
its people like u that make this world suck
I hate to be rude, but you're a cunt for making assumptions without knowing shit
I cant say YDI or FYL because they DO have parking spots for that purpose. Didn't have one? Park somewhere out of the way of other people, so something like this doesnt happen. But I do agree with other people, you shouldn't have added an insult like that. At least put 'Nice parking job.' and thats it.
#82 - On 09/07/2009 at 11:14am by muffintastic
YDI
now I hope your childen come out retarted just because you wished it on someone else
...are you still in high school? Middle school, maybe?
...are you in high school? Middle school, maybe?
you're a fucking asshole. my god.
OP: I might have been on your side if you have just written something idiotic such as , "Why the 3 spaces ASSHOLE!!"
Wishing someone something like their children being mentally retarded is horrible on your part.
I chose YDI because, don't you know that what goes around comes around? Retarded children you say?
Agreed.
#88 - On 09/07/2009 at 11:18am by kindofgocrazy
Oh wow. Heaven forbid you can't get the parking spot right up front and have to spend another 90 seconds looking for a new one. I'd say the suffering of walking a bit farther to and from your car is equivalent to that of taking care of a child with special needs. Good job dishing out justice.
And this woman probably had some sort of handicapped sticker on her car as an explanation. OP probably just didn't bother looking.
Yes, heaven forbid you don't get the parking space right up front. Oh, the horror of having to spend another 60 seconds looking for another spot. I'd say having to walk a little further to and from your car is the equivalent of raising a child with special needs. Good thing we have you to dish out justice.
The lady probably had some sort of handicapped sign on her car. OP probably just didn't bother to look.
Disabled or not, there is still no reason to be taking up three spaces. That's why there are handicapped spaces with the access ramps on either side so that there is room to get the wheelchair in or out. Just because her son is disabled, it does not entitle her to taking up three parking spaces.
What the fuck is wrong with you for saying that though?!
Maybe your children should be retarted!! Karma is a bitch.
YDI
Asshole!!!
Wow. I wanna know why you were driving in the first place, since, based on your actions, you can't be more than what, 12 years old? Whether or not the person's child was disabled is not the issue. If the owner of the car had come back with her completely normal, healthy, non-physically-or-functionally-disabled children, you'd still be an asshole for leaving that kind of note. Maybe this taught you to stop being such a drama queen.
the note was completely justified. There are handicapped parking stalls for a reason. The mom shoulda just parked in a handicapped stall. If anything the woman driving the car is a huge jerk for inconveniencing 2 other people, by taking up additional parking spaces. Just because she has a crippled kid she thinks shes entitled to 3 parking spots? HAHA i dont think so.
You are an idiot. Justified? That's bullshit! Maybe there was a handicap parking stall already taken and maybe she went in for 5 minutes to get her kid out. That's no reasen to leave a note like that.
'Instant Karma's gonna get you...'
- John Lennon.
Many everyday situations can be solved by John Lennon quotes, I find. Like this one. Idiot.
WTF. what kind of ass hole are you?!?!?!
I understand completely. People who take up several parking spaces (ESPECIALLY in small lots) piss me off too. Take two, fine. But three is just asking for trouble.
The note was a little uncalled for, but like I said, I understand.
you're a dick.
YDI and I hope this is fake.
#107 - On 09/07/2009 at 11:58am by blackberry1993
YDI. I bet you just wanted a parking spot at the front so your lazy ass wouldn't have to park farther back. You don't own the parking lot, and it's sad you wasted time writing a stupid ass note like that. I would've been pissed in that situation, and I'm sure a lot of other people would have. But most people would just curse under their breath or something and move the fuck on, unlike you.
Isn't this what handicapped spaces are for?! I don't blame the OP for being angry, but maybe he shouldn't have left the note...
Agreed with drunkupgorgeous!
i agree with #103
and #110
Ok, I admit, I have left "Your parking sucks!" notes no people's windshields beofore, but that was just going to far. It's not the children's fault that his/her mom parks like that. It's not and FyourLIfe, it's an Ftheirs.
exactly... why the heck did you have to bring the kids into this... sounds fake, but maybe the OP really that big of a jackass
oh! that is so sad....but you didnt know that was the case.what you did....you did it unknowingly.I hope u said sorry for what you did though....
You've got magical powers to make kids retarded therefore you are Gandalf.

YDI
As someone who takes care of a handicapped father, I sometimes have to park unfavorably so that I can get my father inside of my car. Because even if there ARE handicapped spaces, if another car parks too close, there's no way I can get him in the car. And seriously, is a bad parking job liable to get you THAT upset? Can your porky ass not walk the extra 3 car spaces to park a little bit further? Jerk.
:O YOU BITCH , that is even rude even if they took up 3 spaces.
Should have just crawled back into your hole skank and not posted this. I have two special needs children and people like you should never breed. Next time shut your pie hole or just use it for the only real purpose it serves to make you some money on the street corner.
My favorite part of this FML? The outraged commenters ranting about how horrible it was for the OP to write that note and, at the same time, calling the OP retarded/fat/useless/shit/insert other vulgar remark. That's some pretty sweet irony right there, folks.
It's not irony, it's hypocrisy, and we never denied it.
I don't understand how the fuck people have sunk so low as to say that this wasn't the OP's fault.
"Oh, he didn't knooow that the child was retarded so of course it's okay to write a note wishing that the car owner has retarded kids in the future!!!"
Seriously, when has it EVER been okay to throw wishes like THAT to people?
And I agree with #120. If you see a car parked in 3 spaces, just go find another spot! What's wrong with walking an extra few feet, even an extra few hundred feet?
It's really a double edge sword. Everyone calls each other names, but usually they do so not because they actually wish it, but because they don't wish it. For example, if I called you, "retarded" I wouldn't say it in the fashion that you have a mental condition/physical condition that cause you to be "retarded." My assumption is that you're an intelligent person who at least know that whatever you did or say is wrong/offensive. So by the OP writing this note on the windshield, he/she didn't meant it as true, but rather that since the person was taking up three spaces knowingly, that the person shouldn't have done that. When the truth came about, it was viewed upon differently.
whether she had a crippled kid or not, no one should ever leave a note like that
i take it u learned a lesson today???
I don't give a damn if the person took up TEN parking spaces, just find another parking space! The fact that you thought it was acceptable to leave such a note to someone, when you don't even know them, is pretty disgusting.
That's a stupid thing to wish to someone... YDI
It's called one word KARMA.
You didn't need to leave such a disrespectful note. There is so many otherthings u can say, but u chose to say I hope ur kids come out mentally challanged.
YDI, YDI......one more time YDI.
you disgusting pig.
how could you ever say such a thing?
is there something wrong with retarded kids? are you against them?
it's sad that some people are born that way yes, but they have feelings too.
i hope karma gets you hard, you disgust me.
#137 - On 09/07/2009 at 1:00pm by mightyfine62
Most of you people are stupid...the note should have been directed at the driver personally but other than that he was not at fault. Bad drivers need to be informed that they are bad drivers, and disabled or not parking in three parking spots is ILLEGAL. That is why we have handicap spots and every god damn place has a handicap spot (well most places). And if she has a disabled son why didn't she fucking get a van that can load people/wheelchairs into the back, so you don't have to take up three spots like an asshole. Really I am sorry and it's hard to raise children with any disabilities but your problem is not my problem so don't make it mine by thinking you deserve special treatment.
And it doesn't matter if she was running in "real quick", it's still fucking illegal. People don't know how to behave in parking lots. They disobey stop signs, then park all jacked up, then skip over the rows of parking spaces cause they are just in to much of a hurry to obey the law. She deserved a mean note, but don't wish her kids to be retarded because they didn't have anything to do with her being an inconsiderate bitch.
It's not even "aww what a ho now I gotta walk five extra feet" it's more like I dont get to park across three spots even though that would be easier for me. Seriously just make a big fucking bold sign that says "Dont park close to me please, I need to load a wheelchair into the car and it's impossible when people park close" or something like that. I fucking hate when people expect special treatment because they take care of someone who is disabled in some way. You aren't fucking special.

#139, why not just post a sign? I have a sign on mine, ON the door with the ramp with a big picture of a wheelchair clearly saying "Please do not park within 8 feet of this door to allow room for a ramp and wheelchair access." Care to guess how many times I've come out to the van to find myself blocked out??
#251 - On 09/07/2009 at 10:17pm by WTFisthiscrap
i never really leave comments but you are a fucking a-hole. perhaps next time you should write, "learn hpw to park" or something of that nature.
It's your fault.
Why the heck would you do that in the first place? Did you not think it's possible for people to have children that are retarded?
And also all you dicks calling the OP names for leaving that note aren't acting any better than the very thing you are talking about so quit acting so god damn arrogant.
that sucks... idk why they wouldnt just park in the invalid spot, they have them EVERYWHERE
Saying you want someone to move their car is one thing, but your note was excessive. YDI for being a dick
HOW DOES THIS PERSON YDI??? They wouldn't have known that about the person and besides the women would only need 2 parking spots at most... I do feel bad for taht women though.
My father is disabled. You're a fucking ass hole.
he wasn't even talking to you. get over yourself, dick. nobody cares about you.
god, people are so fucking sensitive nowadays. makes for easy target practice. :D
What an arrogant douchebag you are. I'd hate to have your life.
It's okay to leave a note for a bad driver sometimes, but not a note like that. YDI.
#152 - On 09/07/2009 at 1:31pm by metonymy
lol your a dickhead, i woulda been mad too, but the note was a tad uneccessary, YDI for being an immature bitch
It's funny how FML's always end up being in huge arguements instead of just "Lols"
Wow, that's funny, awkward, wrong all at once. Reminds me of Peep Show.
Isn't that what handicapped parking spaces are for? it's illegal to take up three spaces, regardless of the mental/physical state of your children.
still, OP, you ARE and SHOULD feel like a dick. I understand your desire to leave a note saying something nasty, but isn't it common sense these days that you don't say shit like that?
aww...guess that's what happens when you assume things...
You deserved what you got and more for being an asshole.
wow people thinking he deserved it. handicapped spots exist for a reason. SHE, the mother, deserved to be told off for taking that much space.
people who leave notes on others cars are losers, if you want to tell someone off do it like a man and tell to her face, not by leaving an anonymous note behind
Y would u ever say something like that??I don't care if the person was taking up 6 spaces u don't SAY things like that becuz u don't know the sitcuation.my younger brother has autism and siitchuations like this tick me off. U deserve a nice punch in the face.
situation does not have a c or h.
you are an asshole, how would you feel if you were retarded.
YDI for hoping something as ill as that to someone in the first place.
Things like "You suck for parking like that" or "Hey, learn how to park next time" would've worked.
#172 - On 09/07/2009 at 2:03pm by RandomPasserby
Okay leaving a note I get, I've done that several times as well as screamed at a few jackasses. But wishing something like that on their children, why? What do you gain from that? Would the words 'Nice Parking Asshole' have made you feel better than cursing her children?
well, i agree with the OP that taking up three parking spaces is flat out unnecessary and stupid.
but i think the situation could have been handled a lot better. you could have said something more along the lines of; "3 parking spaces? really?" to go out of your way and wish retardedness on a stranger's kids is uncalled for, not to mention a bit extreme.
I agree that the OP was a little harsh. I understand the frustration of seeing someone take up 3 parking spaces, but I wouldn't wish retarded children on them.
Besides, most people with handicapped, wheelchair-bound children have handicapped plates or stickers. I would have looked for that first before doing anything else.
#176 - On 09/07/2009 at 2:11pm by Jennydew
YDI for being such a douche nozzle
maybe it was already taken?
Do you fucking take stickies out of your pockets to write harsh words to those who bother you. D:
You shouldn't jump to conclusions.
I would have been pissed, too. I'd more than likely get over it, though. YDI and FYL at the same time.
I understand that someone taking up three parking spaces is infuriating, but I can't have any sympathy for you because you wished retardation on her kids. YDI
It sounds like OP's mom got a similar note on her car before he was born.
but why would they need 3 spaces? I've heard of two but not three.
Agree with #190, I have heard of 2, not 3. I mean seriously, I have seen vans with those things to lift up people in wheel chair and that does not take up 3 spots. Seriously, don't blame him for not knowing that person had a disable child. He found out after they came out! I would have left a note saying "Why need 3 spots when you could take up 2?" I mean people who take up so much spot, causes there not to be any open parking space in the front, but way in the back. -_-"
BTW: he said "Retarded" and the child was not retarded; disable.
#191 - On 09/07/2009 at 3:23pm by x3sarang
YDI so much.
Obviously you've never had to deal with a mentally challenged child before.
I think this comment is slightly mean...
but fucking hilarious(:
three words YOUR A BITCH!!!!
I can understand that if you saw that it would piss you off and you might be inclined to leave a note, but you don't wish disability on peoples kids...
Why Would You Even wish that on someone!
You're a Bastard!
lmfao. this is hilarious
#198 - On 09/07/2009 at 3:54pm by njimko
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
But seriously dude, next time just wrtie: "Nice parking jackass" or something.
that's y u don't do that u fucktard
you don't leave notes. you cus to your self about it for a minute and get on with your life.
YOU FUCKING DESERVE WHATEVER UR GONNA GET.
It was wrong for that person to take three spaces, but you didn't need to write such an awful note. YDI.
I did something like that once, but i only said learn to drive, it ok though everyone who says YDI probably can't drive
wow why would you say that that's not even funny
YDI for being a piece of shit and wishing horrible things to innocent children. You piece of crap.
Retard jokes are a MASSIVE no-no
YDI
No one said 'Fmylife' was supposed to be funny...
that sucks. there was NO way you were supposed to have known their was going to a handicapped person in the car. in most cases its an asshole taking up three spaces.
#211 - On 09/07/2009 at 4:54pm by skullwaste
Fuck you bitch! y would u even say that asshole
whoa careful what you wish for. they came out of the place, and the child came out disabled. FYL, kinda funny tho cuz u probably wish for good things and they never come true.
Thats soooo fucked up u should never ever leave a note like that thats sik
#214 - On 09/07/2009 at 5:10pm by blue_eyed
You never do that! I wonder how the mother felt. I hope you become retarded. How does that feel?
This nicely made up. Well, not really nicely.
Your a fucking asshole I hate you
FYL dude, I'd defend you 100% on this.
There are disabled parking spaces for a reason.
Your honesty is admirable, but you're still going to burn in Hell.
Sorry :(
guys, guys, guys... now what was the retarded child doing out of his cage?
wtf!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!! i hope ur children come out retarded!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :[)
Fuck you dude, this isn't a FML, this is proof you don't deserve to live.
#226 is right.
#224 is an asshole.
OP, you're a dick.
I mean, the first thing that comes to mind when I see someone taking that much space up is "RAAAAEEEEGGG", but leaving a note like that is NEVER okay. "Nice parking job, jackass" will suffice next time. You dick.
How can you even SAY something like that?? OP, you're an asshole.
#229 - On 09/07/2009 at 7:12pm by amberr1102
Jackass. Next time, "nice parking job" will suffice.
HAHAHAHA oh god, today's a good day for funny things.
FYL because you weren't wrong in pointing out the jackassery there (seriously, you didn't know, and she could have parked in a handicapped spot, they HAVE extra lanes next to them for that), but YDI because you could have said something better.
#232: MAYBE 1/3 of them have the extra no parking lines next to it.
To people saying she would've had a handicap plate, or parking decal..... well, you're not supposed to drive when them hanging in the mirror. If that had been me parking out far back in the lot, I probably wouldn't have bothered to put mine up. Why would I if I'm not in a handicap spot? Then people would be bitching at me for taking a spot from an able-bodied person (which seriously, would make me laugh till I peed on myself! lol).
To everyone saying there's always handicap spots open/no one ever parks in them..... were ARE you all? Where do you all live and where do you all go where there are all these empty handicap parking spots?? I'm ready to move and visit these places! :)
#253 - On 09/07/2009 at 10:28pm by WTFisthiscrap
Even in big-city Chicago, I've seen empty handicap parking spaces.
Where are YOU?
Whether the car owner has kids or not, retarded or not, it's NEVER OKAY to leave a note like that.
Although I'm sure the OP learned their lesson and has trouble falling asleep at night :) :) :)
How could you even wish that on someone in the first place?? U f*cked in the head man..
Your a DICK, you should never do anything like that.
I hope you burn.
The note was completely unnecessary. You don't say things like "retarded" to people you've never even met. Do I say that to my friends when I'm joking around with them? Yes. But I wouldn't leave a note on someones car saying that. Your fucking fault. However, where were you that there weren't any handicapped spaces open? I mean, my dad is disabled and most of the times when we go to the mall every single handicapped space is taken, and there's like over 30 of them throughout the entire mall parking lot. So that I can understand. But I don't know, I would think they would be able to find a space that was van accessible or leave a note saying why they needed the three spaces, what if a cop came and left a ticket on their car while they were gone? What did they think people would think when they saw that? Not blaming them though. Still your fault.
Why would you wish retardation on someone's kids? you could've just left a note saying "nice parking, jerk" or something like that
but no, you had to say you hope their kids are retarded
YDI you douche bag.
That's what handicapped parking spaces are there for, not taking up three regular ones. Dumb bitch deserved that note. Fucking people think they can do whatever they want these days, and just need a reminder that they can't.
This is possibly the most epicly ironic FML ever
A wheelchair that big? o.o
Most handicapped parking also has no-parking spots next to it
no matter what any of you say, the OP didn't do "the right thing". he didn't think of the circumstances, just jumped to conclusions that it was a shitty driver. and you shouldn't ever wish a disability on someone, especially someone's (this someone being a person you don't even know.) children. if you wanna leave a note, at least make it helpful- not hurtful. #243, the OP thought he could just take this opportunity to leave an extremely hurtful note on a random car. he didn't even say if it was handicapped or regular spaces, so you can't say the driver was wrong.
Australia has special large carparks for disabled people... so I'm sure the US would too. This is both FYL and YDI. YDI for being nasty when you didn't know the circumstances, FYL because the other car should have parked in a disabled park (and I've never been in a carpark where there isn't a free disabled park).
Your so screwed up in the head
"booowhoo someone took up a lot of spaces now I have to pick another one" like dude get over it. How old are you? That's not something to get mad about. Even Though there is parking spaces for people like that, they could have been in use by someone else. Just pick a new spot, as simple as that. The note shit wasn't nes.
dick move.
its a parking spot.
do us all a favor and grow up.
k, thanks (:
It's okay for you to be upset at the driver beforehand, but why would you say something like "I hope your child comes out retarded?" That's just ridiculous. YDI just for saying that.
YDI. Next time you leave a note make it related to what actually upset you rather than some random insults. You wouldn't feel so bad if you told them they needed to do a better parking job.
you are an awful person. don't be so quick to judge.
ditto 261. if you really feel the need to be a jackass, at least be accurate.
YDI YDI YDI.
Honestly, even if she did park badly, what kind of douchebag leaves a note like THAT? You are obviously an asshole, no question about it.
You are a terrible person. I cannot comprehend how anyone could be so ignorant and mean. Get a life, asshole and stop wishing horrible things on others. Clearly, you need anger management. It's a parking space. Use the opportunity to get some exercise. You could use the extra minute you would have had to walk to clear your head.
well this totally defeats the purpose of having handicap parking spots...
Why do people feel the need to leave notes on other people's cars? I find it so rude.
Pfft, they deserved it for not using a designated handicapped spot.
And all of you having a whinge, THAT IS WHY WE HAVE DISABLED SPOTS.
We can only assume a car without an Acrod sticker parked across 3 bays is an idiot who cannot park.
Good Day.
what a disgusting comment on your behalf.
Well yes, they deserved a rude note... You didn't know the circumstances, and they were doing something wrong... But did you have to say that? Seriously... Why not just "thanks for taking up three spaces, jerk" or something.
That comment was really uncalled for & while I'd be pissed if someone did that too, that's still a horrible note..
Gotta give this one a YDI.
How dare you wish retardation on an innocent child!?!?! Is it the child's fault that the parent decided to take up extra parking spots?!? Yeah, not knowing would make it an annoying thing to see, but why wish the children, who have nothing to do with it, to be forced to live their lives with a disability? That rude and uncalled for comment probably wrecked that lady's day. You should really think about your actions.
So don't judge people, there you learnt a lesson. I hope you went and apologised before they saw the note.
Dick move, Dick move.....
my brother has downs syndrome and i still think this is pretty funny... thats why parking lots have handicap spaces.
you are fucked up. why would you ever wish that upon someone, and especially for something so minor. you have anger management problems.
on one hand you definitely shouldn't have said that. and the kid might not even have had a mental disability, just couldn't walk or something. on the other hand, there is a reason for handicapped spaces. i don't even think cars can take up 3 whole spaces, unless it was a limo.
#286 - On 09/08/2009 at 7:51pm by Fluffalo
what the fuck is wrong wrong you?! How could you leave something like that, ever!?
#287 - On 09/08/2009 at 10:23pm by A1L12E4X26
Ok anybody would be mad is some asshole was taking up 3 spaces and said person didn't know why.Ok so u didn't know the kid was retarded thats not your fault. And I mean that pretty fucking funny just because its so ironic that the kid just happens to be retarded shit I would do the same thing.
YOUR AN ASSHOLE! first why the fuck would you put that note when their most likely in handicapped parking and second a lot of minivans are for mentally ill people ESPECIALLY IF THEIR PARKED IN HANDICAPPED. dumbass
#289 - On 09/08/2009 at 11:45pm by BUDWEISER
A bit over the top with that note, eh? You live in California. You should be used to asshole drivers/parkers. God knows most people here are too self-absorbed to pay attention to anyone else. So why leave such an appallingly hateful note? Even if there hadn't been a handicapped child and the person had just been a total douche, it's not as if your note would have changed their minds about things. They wouldn't have gone "Oh my, you're so right. I'm a terrible person for taking up three parking spots. Goodness me, I must stop this nonsense at once!" No point to the note, unless you really get that pissed about people taking up more than one spot. Christ, dude. I hope you learn to relax after this fiasco.
If she was not in a handicap spot she was breaking the law, should have called the parking inspector. No reason others should be put out.
Whats wrong with you??? Thats a horrible thing to say (and all for parking space)!
damn, to all those who said this person deserved it, you ARE retarded T.T
we all make mistakes out of anger! don't lie, you know you're not a saint or anything. i mean honestly your on this site to enjoy other peoples misery.
lighten upppppp
i think you guys are missing the point that there is no way a car could take up 3 parking spaces.. aside from the fact that the original poster said "car", most vans would not take up more than two cars worth of space if parked sideways. and if it was a van, it would truly be "retarded" to parallel parkadjacent to two parked cars,
#297: I have a middle-sized car, and I've had my car occupying seven spaces before. True, it wasn't "taking up" all of the spaces, but I've also been able to block three spaces before. It's not that hard.
what an asshole. you deserve it and deserve whatever you were wishing on them on you.
either way you shouldnt even be leaving a note there. asshole !
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
i love you.
idiot, dumbass
that was just plan cruel, you shouldn't even be putting up a note like that in the first place!
You're a terrible person, No joke.
My little brother has Cerebral Palsy, and I don't even want to imagine what would have happened if I'd seen that written on my car. Think about that person's family too, man! That's horrible and heart-breaking!
Too many negative votes, comment buried. Show the comment.
fuck you and your tard brother it's not like retards will every be useful
Good job pointing out a shitty parker, bad luck they actually had a reason for it...
#311... you are a complete and total DOUCHE BAG. You'd better pray that you don't get into an accident and come out with some sort of a brain injury that leaves you mentally retarded for the rest of your life... that would just be terrible... but then again, "it's not like retards will ever be useful." You pathetic jerk.
wow. I actually hope you die a horrible death
Dude, that is TOO fucking hilarious! Hahaha!!!
What an absolutely dickish thing to have done REGARDLESS of whether the car owner had a disabled son or not.
Have seen this same exact FML three times now - and almost verbatim. Busted.
I still find this funny. Mostly because of the retards who are all "OMG I HOPE U BURN IN HELL!!!"
omg stfu ppl it's not like you wouldn't have don't the same thing
omg seriously? that must've really been a slap in the face for her, please don't leave such horrible notes just because you're angry =[
lol. wish granted (; YDI. BITCH.
You son of a bitch. If I knew where you were, I'd kick you so hard in the nuts, you could taste them. I hope you have kids that are disabled, and some jackass does the same to you.
ok, to everyone who is saying that it was stupid of them to not park in the handycap space, think about the fact that in parking lots there are not that many handycaped spaces so they probably didn't have a choice...sure I. would be mad too but YDI for being stupid engough to put a note like that on someone eles's car....jerk.
why would you even say something like that in the first place? that's just rude.
gosssh, u didn't even think about it first?
that was really mean, i nnever knew ppl could be this mean.
Well it'd be normal to be mad if you saw someone take up three spaces. But you didn't have to include in the disabled insult. =(
