How do you fuck up that bad
What do you mean, how does the 1st commenter fuck up so bad(ly)?
He didn't. They're responding to the OP. Some people (noobs) like to reply to the 1st poster so that their comment appears higher up.
Fyl for having to pay for your friend's PARENTS to get in. Did they really make you pay or are you just a lazy assmuffin mooching off your friends? I don't see how YOUR life is fucked.
(if you really need to get in, you can always become the next Disney slut... You don't even need to be talented!)
I find it annoying when people post short lazy messages, then edit them afterward in hopes to get first place. Like, say, when people just type 'lol' and then edit saying 'Sucks to be you, FYL.' *cough*
What if I want to, besides, this is an FML cause my family and I went to Disney World so I know how much those tickets cost. I'm really sorry to hear this. :(

Wow.. you guys are stupid as shit.
#43 Ummm...it said "WE" had bought tickets...so I'm guessing the parents paid for themselves and their child and the OP paid for his own...is that so hard to understand?!
#108 - On 09/03/2009 at 2:37am by Puolukka
Wow, you guys are stupid as shit... you would think maybe one of you would have thought to check?
who goes to disneyworld WITHOUT any money? I find that very hard to believe
omgggg thats horrrible lol :|
#4 - On 09/02/2009 at 7:39pm by xij3ss
haha yea. fail? was meant to mean fail, or epic fail?.
Disneyland is better, anyway. Just go.
they're the same exact thing, especially if they wanted to go to Magic Kingdom. There is absolutely no difference, i mean both got tomorrowland, and all the other places.
Well next time check the name before you click "confirm" when buying ;)
Although Im guessing since you were going with your friend and her family that her parents bought the tickets so sucks for you to get drug along for 5 hours because of their mistake.
LOL, fail. But thats okay, Disney's lame anyway
Wow. That's...really dumb. I don't know how else to put it.
I personally believe that you deserve it because, uh, some users on FML don't have maps and, uh, I believe that our, uh, education like such as, uh, Florida and, uh, the California, everywhere like such as, and, I believe that they should, our education here on FML should help FML, uh, or, should help Florida and should help the California and the Eurodisney, so we will be able to buy up souvenirs, for our children.
ROFL #11. I really hope your comment doesn't get buried by people who don't get the reference, because that was brilliant.
#54 - On 09/02/2009 at 9:51pm by null
LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!
you are officialy..uh...like such as my HERO xD
An FML comment that forced me to think. Don't see too many of those.
wait what is 11 referencing?
Youtube this: Miss Teen USA 2007 - South Carolina answers a question
ROFLMAO #11, thank you, you just made my night.
Aaaaaaahhhaaaaaaaa! I'm in love with you, RequiemCube! That was awesome.
Haha that sucks. Maybe don't buy em in advance next time, just in case that sort of thing happens. I mean it's not like the tix sell out, right? CA's Disneyland doesn't, as far as I know
Mistakes happen...that's a part of life...your life...FyourLife...seriously, lls.
FYL indeed as that is a huge purchase, but at the same time, whoever bought the tickets obviously didn't pay alot of attention to WHERE the tickets were for. YDI for that.
are you really that dumb? the 2 have completely different websites. and who lives in fl and doesnt know how to buy tix for disney world?
"...Sign said 40 miles to Canada
My truck tore across Montana
Ian Tyson sang a lonesome lullaby
And so I cranked up the radio
Cause there's just a little more to go
For I'd cross the border at that Sweet Grass sign
I'm Alberta Bound
This piece of heaven that I've found
Rocky Mountains and black fertile ground
Everything I need beneath that big blue sky
Doesn't matter where I go
This place will always be my home
Yeah I've been Alberta Bound for all my life
And I'll be Alberta Bound until I die..."
And you should too. next time choose the Calgary Stampede, West Ed, Sunshine Ski and Snowboard Resort over Disney World. It is slightly overrated.
damn straight. alberta FTW
Wooohooo! someone else from Cowtown :)
All four of you are retards.
I thought Disneyland was only in Paris.. and American only had Disneyworld. Huh, you really do learn something new everyday!
What do you mean you only thought Disneyland was in Paris? Disneyland in California was the first Disney park.
I actually thought the same. I think that's European way of thinking ;-) I always assumed America had DisneyWORLD & Paris got Disneyland ;-)
it sucks, yeah... but i'm sure you can sell the tix on ebay or something for only $5-10 cheaper.
That would be illegal. It's in the fine print when you purchase the tickets - they're non transferable and not valid for resale.
How the hell did you manage that one?? Nice job.
#29 - On 09/02/2009 at 8:25pm by KelMarCos
You were probably better off buying the tickets at the park. That's what I did when I got there. Didn't really have to wait long. I mean the lines are always ridiculous to get in...but not to get tickets. Anyways that blows. Better luck next time.
I don't believe it for a minute! I am sure if you went to guest relations at Disney World, they would have exchanged them for you. They would probably make you pay the difference in price if there is one. I agree with everyone else that y'all are really stupid for buying the wrong tickets in the first place! Maybe it's better that you didn't get in the park... they don't need anymore stupid people in there!!
#39 - OMG you're so right. They don't need any more stupid people at the parks. THey're stupid enough as it is. I've never seen so much stupidity in one place as I've seen at Disney.
#65 - On 09/02/2009 at 10:24pm by capricaz
i live half an hour away from disney land :)
How do you mess that up?! It's only obvious! Disney LAND. Disney WORLD. And they have completely different websites! YDI!
I agree with #21, all four of you are retards. Pretty sad that no one caught the mistake before driving all that way. Did you guys even TRY talking to the park management? Seems that if Disney owns both parks, they could have given you something in exchange.
The mouse knows how to fuck people
Yeah, Mickey is a pimp and the theme parks are his hookers...
oh, and to the OP...EPIC FAIL!!!
#141 - On 09/06/2009 at 1:36am by mcbob_kool
My family and I went to Disneyland for the first time. Since we live in New York, we go to DisneyWorld a ton of times. When we were at the DisneyLand gates, they allowed us to change our DisneyWorld tickets to DisneyLand ones. DisneyWorld is so much better.
for some reason this fml reminds me of the jonas brothers south park. haha n mickey kicks the shit outta them. 'christians. are. retarded!"haha n be4 u comment i am christian. it was just funny.
look on the bright side. u can subtract about 600-800 miles from that cause it sure ain't 3k away
Disney would've totally changed the tickets around and only made you pay the difference... they don't stop at anything within a cast members power to make a day magical.
Either that, or I'm sure you would've run into a cast member who would've let them in on your pass because they felt bad for you. I work at one of the parks and I would've changed your ticket or at least maingated you on the simple fact that (albeit FYL and you're pretty stupid for doing it) I felt bad for you.
you can send the tickets to me. my sister keeps bugging me about whenever I babysit her.
#52 - On 09/02/2009 at 9:44pm by besad
wow how does that many peoples not notice this before you leave
How come you didn't bring any cash? Why would you go to a BIG amusement park and not bring any cash? This almost sounds made up.
So... No credit cards? ATM cards? Checks?
I live in Florida; Disney accepts all three.
Okay, so how can you not look at the tickets?
Either way, it's a YDI for downright stupidity.
YDI for being so dumb as to confuse Disneyland with Disney World.
#63 - On 09/02/2009 at 10:16pm by capricaz
I used to work at Disney World and if I learned anything, it's that guests come first. Disney would never deny you entrance if you explained your situation to them. They don't care how or where they get the money from you. It all goes into the same place. Unhappy guest for Disney = end of the world.
Besides, who goes to Disney without extra money for all the shopping? And who doesn't have a credit card these days?
This is SO made up.
#64 - On 09/02/2009 at 10:19pm by capricaz
I don't buy this. so you had money for gas, but no money for extra tix? good thing your car didn't break down. and as it has been said before. no cash/credit/check? either 1 this is fake (and that's my guess) or 2 you are the absolute dumbest group of people that has ever walked this earth. if it is true, please don't ever reproduce.
#66 - On 09/02/2009 at 10:36pm by JP101
WIN
#67 - On 09/02/2009 at 10:38pm by capricaz
Wow, how do you confuse Disney World and Disneyland?
And dude, why are you bitching? Disneyland may not be as big as Disney World, but good god it's still a Disney park! Just go, damn...
and 64 and 66 make excellent points, except 64 I don't think they would have switched the tickets, but definitely would have at least compensated them.
They couldn't go because Disneyland is on the other side of the country.
All this talk about Disney parks...damn, I really want to go to Disneyland now!
Lol, no kidding eh?
I know Disneyland is on the other side of the country. Otherwise, I wouldn't say "How could you mix up Disney World and Disneyland?"
But, they can't be completely broke and out of luck, which I pointed out by agreeing with those above me, so they COULD have gone somehow.
Oh I thought you meant they should have gone to Disneyland because you were saying it was just as good.
Did anyone ever stop to conside that when they say they didn't have money, they meant that they had saved up for the trip but couldn't afford the second set of tickets? Disney's not the cheapest place in the world.
#70 - On 09/02/2009 at 10:56pm by randomnoun
DameGreyWolf, wow you need to learn to read, she said she said she couldn't go cause they were the wrong tickets and she couldn't afford to get the right ones. Really, it's not that difficult to understand.
#72 - On 09/02/2009 at 10:58pm by iFruit
What part of my post implied I didn't understand that they had the wrong tickets?
You didn't understand that the OP said they couldn't afford new ones and that the other Disney park is 3000 miles away.
But I never said anything about them buying new ones. I said I didn't think they'd switch them, but that I would think they'd compensate them somehow.
And you don't have to DRIVE to California. There are such things as trains and planes. They could take the money they intended on spending in Disney World and use that, or they could save up some more and go before the tickets expire.
Yeah I believe with 39... if you went to Guest relations, they would have changed the tickets for sure.. You'd be surprised how many people call WDW "Disneyland"... and then even think that every is Disney World when there are 4 different "parks".
I also used to work for the company, and worked at the Studios, ive had guest come in looking for "the castle" which of course is in a different park, they only had one day tickets and they had to go to Guest Relations who helped replace their tickets so they could go to the right park.
I dont believe this is really true. but at the same time it amazes me how so many people leave common sense at home when they visit WDW or any disney property lol
you are the weakest link, goodbye.
I looooooove Disney World and anybody that says it's lame doesn't know what they're talking about!
Disney would have changed the tickets, its the same company so they'd still be getting their money's worth. Why didn't you just buy the tickets at the gate?? Or check the website/ticket vendor/or notice BEFORE you go to Disney WORLD?
#77 - On 09/02/2009 at 11:10pm by 110879
I work at DL as a ticket seller. You could have taken your tickets to the gate and they would have let you in.
I was just there, and I find it very hard to believe that Disney would just say to you "Sorry, these are the wrong tickets, buy the right ones," and then turn you away. There is a price difference (DLR is actually cheaper than WDW), so they'd probably make you pay that, and maybe a transfer fee.
this is not an FML. this is a WTF there are really people that stupid out there? YDI does not even begin to cover it....
You should've gone to Disneyland and asked if anyone there had Disneyworld tickets and then switched.
Congrats! Someone in their family, if not everyone including yourself, is a fucktard!
That seems pretty stupid that they wouldn't switch them out. It all goes to the same franchise, what do they care.
Hey IRTL. How bout this?
Four strong winds that grow lonely
Seven seas that run high
It's those things that don't change
Come what may
If the good times are all gone
I'm bound for movin on
I'll look for you if I'm ever back this way
Good Disney sucks the biggest balls ever. Only like what two good rides per Disney park? And the rest are gay shows. Eww.
Well thats my opinion, I'm more into thrill rides!
Ydi for picking Disney over islands of adventure!
Holy fuck how stupid can you be. YDI.
How did you manage that?
#95 - On 09/03/2009 at 12:49am by jook
I suppose for once Disney wasn't the happiest place on earth
Even if this is true, you couldve soldthe tickets you got, then buy some new ones at the gate. Problem solved.
Speaking as someone who works for Disney, it is illegal to resell our tickets after purchase. Had the OP attempted to do so on property s/he could have been arrested for trespassing.
That being said, had the OP informed guest relations, there would likely have been a way to rectify the situation and get the party into the theme park.
It ain't such a small world after all, bitch!
#103 - On 09/03/2009 at 2:01am by Triumvirate
I'm sorry, but....who...doesn't know the difference between Disneyland and Disneyworld.........
A valuable lesson learned. Always double check things.
#105 - On 09/03/2009 at 2:13am by shelboo
Every wonder if your very existence is just to serve as a warning to others?
How do you mix them up? Isn't Disney World called "The Magic Kingdom" or something anyway? And, uh, Disney World is two words, Disneyland is one. They even look different.
Between all the minds in the car, you made it 5 hours? LOL. Im glad I wasnt in that car.
#112 - On 09/03/2009 at 5:02am by samanthakm9
um...they're in completely different states. how could u stuff that up?
Disneyland/world are overpriced, from what i hear. You pay then cash and then spend like 6 hours for queuing a ride. I am also questioning the effect of "priority" tickets if everyone buys them.
I wanna go to Disneyworld now.
I mean, really. No one thought " Hmm, better check before we go that we have the right tickets"?
You live only 5 hours away from Disney World and you don't even know the difference between Disney World and Disneyland. You totally diserve it.
Disagree. Whoever bought the tickets, most probably one of the friends parents, didn't know the difference. They sure do now!!
Okay, two things: You guys kinda deserve it for being SO careless with your money. Dude! That was dumb. And also, Disney World is a bunch of butts for not exchanging those tickets for you. It's the SAME company. Jerks. It's not like they were going to run out of seats.
this is what happens when women make the plans...
umm this is such a lie. i worked at disney world and we changed tickets and leftover points all the time. im sorry i usually do not "bash" the people on this site but either this person is really dumb or was really lied to.
do they have down syndrome?
florida is full of stupid people
5 hours is a long way away to stay from the park (or Orlando in general - hello tourists), so I can't imagine that you're a tourist or non-native Floridian.
With that thought process, you probably live in Florida. In that case, YDI for not even knowing that DisneyWORLD is the park in Florida. I'm almost glad you wasted that much money for not knowing the difference. As another person pointed out, the site you bought the tix from would have told you at least which state.
warning! warning! retard alert!
YDI for not paying attention to what you pay so much money on.
Saw on the site or was moderating and saw this one?
#138 - On 09/04/2009 at 4:34am by shelboo
As others have said, you're either a liar or not very bright. I worked at Disneyland and know others who still do; they wouldn't've just turned you away.
Bull. My parents found some unused Disneyworld tickets that are a decade old when they were cleaning out the house. They sent them to me, in California, just in case I could use them at Disneyland. I told the ticket-taker that they were old Disneyworld tickets and got in with no problem. If Disneyland still has the ability to read Disneyworld tickets from a decade ago, Disneyworld can read Disneyland tickets from last week.
Even I know the difference between Disneyland and Disneyworld, and I'm in Aus.
Didn't you check the address when you bought the tickets?! Everyone who hasn't been living under a rock knows that Disney theme parks have multiple locations around the world. idiots.
YDI for multiple reasons, but a.) wanting to go to any Disney theme park and b.) not realizing the difference between Disneyworld and Disneyland when you live in FLORIDA instantly come to mind.
LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION
YDI for not reading properly how does a car full of people for 5 hours not notice that and suck it up! I have to drive 10-13 hours to get to florida 12-15 to get to Disney world depending on traffic so get on that magic train and take your retard ass on the other side of the country
