He's got a right to know... but still sucks!
woah, woah, woah. you have a regular vibrator AND a water proof one? he must be doing something wrong.
yeah, but maybe he could interrogate her after he's found out that she's totally fine?
that seems more priority to me :)
a few little batteries arent gonna make her pass out she faked the injury for sympathy from him
LOL
Insecurity at its finest.
Now your vibrator's ruined. You'll never get off.
He needs to get his priorities straight...
Anyway, just because you're using a vibrator doesn't mean he's doing anything wrong in bed in the first place. Though he sounds like he probably is.
#6 - On 05/01/2009 at 10:10am by lnm701
Wow. I hope you are ok. That does suck.
well, what was he doing wrong?
Well that's what I call getting a shocker *badumchee*
But I hope you're ok
I say he deserves to know.
I agree with #6. It's just like how us guys still like to yank it even though we have girlfriends.
To the OP, I still put YDI for your almost suicide by sex-toy.
@#1,8,10: He's not necessarily doing anything wrong. It's just different, and probably easier/faster.

You got an electric shock of what i presume is a battery powered vibrator? erm...no
If you took a vibrator plugged into the mains into a bath, then you deserved it entirely.
Damn, I'd dump his ass. Passed out from electric shock, and he asks if he's using his dick wrong rather than get a doctor? He'd be out on the street before I even got dressed.
You're either lying or an idiot. See #14.
#17 - On 05/01/2009 at 10:18am by djse
Right to know? Why? Men in relationships masturbate. No-one says their girlfriends have a right to know, or that its because the men arent satisfied- people just accept thats what men do. If she wants some private time then its not really anything to do with him. If he is doing something wrong, it might not be why shes using the vibrator but she should definitely try and help him out a little. Though preferably after she's been to hospital...?
Speaking of "shocker"... you guys ever hear of the Texas shocker?
whoa, whoa, whoa. It was plugged in the fucking wall? If so, you'd be dead.
It was battery powered? Worst case scenario would be that it wouldn't work, and you'd break the mechanics. You would NOT be shocked in ANY WAY.
BULL.
SHIT.
I pretty much agree with #16 - ffpoisongirl. If not dump-worthy, then certainly smash-head-into-the-side-of-the-bathtub-worthy. And when he wakes up and finds his head cracked open and bleeding, refuse to let him call for help until you have outlined every way in which the vibrator is better than him. Then hand him the phone and carry on with what you were doing - preferably, no longer in a bathtub full of water.
Priorities, asshole. Evaluate them.
She was definitely faking the injury. You think that a tiny shock is equal to cracking somebodies head open. You're probably one of those psycho bitches that cuts of you boyfriend's dick for dumping you.
BITCH YOU CRAZY!!!
Ha if your dumb enough to shock yourself in the tub with your own vibrator, i doubt its his fault that your not getting off. your just dumb
I say "FYL" because it sucks about your boyfriend. I also say "YDI" because you should've checked and made sure that something like this wouldn't happen... I hope you're okay though!
#23 - On 05/01/2009 at 10:27am by cindolin
A right to know? The fuck?
Oh, of course. Sorry, I forgot for a minute that when a woman is in a relationship the ownership of her vagina is automatically transferred to the male.
You guys ever drop a cellphone into a toilet? Those have batteries in them too. Did retrieval ever electrocute you? No, it just ruined the phone. This is bullshit. Your boyfriend wants to know what he's done wrong, he's dating a nut-bag who makes up stupid stories for attention. Otherwise, gents, you have no right to know why your girlfriend's trying to get off in the tub. Do we ask you what you do in the shower with your morning wood, or why we're not good enough because you didn't feel like waking us up at the ass crack of dawn to handle the problem for you. By all means.
#25 - On 05/01/2009 at 10:29am by Emrysa
High fives to #24.
And seriously? Her boyfriend deserves to know? That's the kind of BS that breaks up relationships. It's suffocating to not be able to have any privacy.
#26 - On 05/01/2009 at 10:30am by cindolin
Batteries (I'm assuming AAs, but even Ds) aren't even remotely powerful enough to knock you out.
Only perhaps the pain of the shock might knock you out...especially if the shock was *there*...yikes.
#27 - On 05/01/2009 at 10:30am by musu
I can't decide if it's FYL or YDI, I'm still stuck on #4. LOL
Atleast he's sweet enough to ask what he is doing wrong. The fact that he cares how you feel in bed is very genuine. The fact that you passed out is horrible, but don't be so hard on him, he probably did help you out of the tub atleast. Her sounds like a nice guy, so keep him!
Passed out from the jolt of 3V from a pair of AA batteries? I call shenanigans.
#29 - yeah, perfect timing to ask about it. totally worth keeping.
#24 FTW!
firstly - your bf is insecure, and probably for good reason ;) There is no part of the male anatomy that vibrates at the superb speed of 1500rpms. Period. Get over yourself. Pleasure can and should be experienced in a myriad of ways - with both penises and vibrators and anything in between.
Why not? Men - wake up! It's not like he's not masturbating to porn... because he uses his hand, does that mean there is something wrong with your vagina? lol. Come on. It's time to open our minds sexually.
I'm pretty sure this is fake, but in any case, your boyfriend is dumb if you really got shocked (which I doubt), and if you didn't, then he probably wants to know why you are making shit up. I'm not really convinced ANY of this is real though.
I say u invest in one of those pulsating shower heads. Just a suggestion.
don't be too hard on your b/f, at least he didn't laugh at you. I would have, alot. I mean literally rofl!
Also, Only_Connect has it right.
"Right to know? Why? Men in relationships masturbate. No-one says their girlfriends have a right to know, or that its because the men arent satisfied- people just accept thats what men do."
Congratulations. Now you know that girls do it, too. And if you don't want girls demanding explanations everytime you jerk off, I suggest you lay off her when she has her own fun.
I think it's a mixture of guys hormones and egos. Because most guys are hornier than most girls, it's assumed they would need 'relief' more, thus, masturbation is more common and not a reflection on the partner. And most guys like to think that if a girl is horny, she would come to him instead of taking it upon herself, since most guys are *always* willing (and part of the male ego resents the idea that his woman can get gratification without him - direct quote from a friend of mine). Thus, taken together in a guy's mind, this explains why your average bloke would get a bit huffy finding his woman on her own with sex toys. Guess they should just get over it.

i agree with #29, assuming this is true at least
There's nothing wrong with masturbating while in a relationship... it's not cheating. Maybe OP just wanted time to herself :)
But I also think this is fake.. pretty much all vibrators are battery powered yes?
Batteries can't do fuck all!
Plug in vibrator- how is there a plug near your bath tub?
Bullshit.
Seems like neither of you is very smart.
Heh be glad he's at least trying to improve for ya.
high five for your boyfriend !!! (and one for #42 as well)
lllloooolllllll
send this link to your bf
http://www.sexinfo101.com/sp_index.shtml
I'm glad my boyfriend enjoys watching me masturbate. It's fun for both of us!
#46 - On 05/01/2009 at 11:24am by IxamxStatic
Total bullcrap, like what #14 said. If its batterypowered you wouldnt even feel a thing and if its connected to the grid then you're retarded. Eventho that is also impossible because they don't put plugholes in a bathroom for obvious safety reasons. And if you do have them then the people who build your bathroom didn't follow the electricity norms or your country has retarded electricitynorms.
(In The Netherlands this would be under the regulations of NEN 1010.)
This comment has been moderated.
You deserved that, hardcore.
This comment has been moderated.
Even if it WERE connected to mains, you don't pass out for extended periods from electric shock... anyone who has reasonable experience with electricity knows that.
#52 - On 05/01/2009 at 11:39am by hurr
#47 - ok, I agree with the bullshit story about the vibrator, but in the U.S. (and probably other countries), almost all bathrooms have electrical outlets in them. It's not necessarily next to the bathtub, but it still exists in the bathroom.
exactly. ever heard of a hair dryer? yeah. they tend to need them.
welcome to the 21st century.
#235 - On 07/03/2009 at 6:16am by whatagoodgirl_
My boyfriend bought my vibrator for me. It was both thoughtful and sent the message that he was self-assured enough in himself to not feel threatened by my choice to take care of myself every once in awhile. After all, as he puts it "I mean, shit, I jack off all the god damn time"
@#14: I didn't even know they had plug-in vibrators....
*does some shopping*
What is it's a rechargeable one? You use it, then you plug it in to recharge it?
I just highly doubt that all these idiots who are full of knowledge never have a brain fart in their lives. The combination of anonymity of the internet and judging people based on their mistakes must be awesome. #42.
OP: There's a gap in your story.... you said he found you passed out, then he started questioning you... so either you woke to your senses and felt fine, or your bf is really a jerk.
This might be fake, but if it's not, your boyfriend seems to know nothing about human sexuality. Sad.
Yeah, shenanigans. Thanks for assuming none of us are intelligent enough to realize you don't get any more than a slight tingling sensation form a 3V shock. Hell, it probably would've felt good.
Well if he is interrogating you to find out what hes doing wrong, hes probably insecure...and is doing something wrong
#21 I agree COMPLETELY. That is the most screwed-up manifestation of insecurity I've heard in a long time. He'd definitely be bleeding before the conversation was done
#60 - On 05/01/2009 at 12:03pm by Inky
rofl, I love how mad people get on this site!
My bet is she did not get shocked at all - if this is even true I bet she passed out from having a jolly good time ( and don't tell me guys that's never happened to you after a grand wanking session) and her BF happened upon her in the tub and felt the need to innumerate his insecurities.
Either way, the male character in this story is a real D-bag - in my opinion any hetero man would have said "can I watch?"
And for all of you saying you wouldn't notice a battery-powered shock to your pink bits, go try it and see if it doesn't sting like a mother fucker.
I might pass out (briefly) too.
#62 - On 05/01/2009 at 12:09pm by Inky
Your story and your relationship are both stupid.
#63 - On 05/01/2009 at 12:10pm by deaditegirl
Next time he masturbates break up with him because OBVIOUSLY that means that he thinks something's wrong with you. Jesus. What the hell is wrong with letting your SO touch themselves??? What a douche. You know what? Forget what I said, dump him now.
Ah,
Insecurity's a bitch.
#67 - On 05/01/2009 at 12:25pm by peel
epic fail!!!
#68 - On 05/01/2009 at 12:36pm by Alyssaxo3xo
#63 sums it all up perfectly.
First: there would be no shock, and it wouldnt hurt
Second: Your not in danger so why woul he take you to the hospital
Third: he wanted to know how to make you feel better in bed
Now, after reading some comments I have come to the conclusion girls are more retarded then ever.
Electrocution can cause tissue damage that is not immediately apparent. She should still see a doctor, and definitely dump the dude.
he shouldnt have to interrogat you, y ou should discuss that sort of thing so you can both enjoy it better.
and a 3volt vib in a bath realy should do stuff all. hell i dropped a 12volts in the bath and nothing happens
And according to http://www.mypleasure.com/Sex-Toy-Hitachi-Magic-Wand.asp?cat=guidevibe&dept_id=802
"Our most popular item for women is unquestionably the Hitachi Magic Wand." It is a plug-in unit, not battery.
There's no way the amount of electricity in your vibrator's batteries could knock you unconscious. Does your boyfriend know you tell lies about him on the internet, or do you not have a boyfriend?
This is kinda FML, but seriously, pleasuring yourself in bath water?
i agree with #20...what a fuck nut
Your boyfriend is an asshole. Next time he tries that kind of shit, ask him how many times a week HE masturbates...that should shut him right up.
Yep. You need a boyfriend who isn't quite so friggin' uptight.
Jerk, he should have got you to the doctor first! Then if he had issues to bug you, though he probably masterbates too. You could have been thinking about him while you did it. Lol.
Seriously though, read instructions first and make sure it says WATERPROOF.
Hope you're ok. Kick him in the ass, he deserves it.
she doesnt need a doctor for a tiny shock that she wouldnt feel. she totally faked it
"Today, I was hungry and wanted to make some toast. I took what I thought was my waterproof toaster into the bathroom with me. I died for a few moments. The regular slices of bread found me and asked why untoasted bread wasn't good enough for me. FML."
The OP needs to take a physics class before making up stories about electric shock. This is impossible unless it's plugged in, then the OP would pretty much be dead. But I don't know how anybody could be stupid enough to do the latter, so I can only assume it's made up.
So all of you calling the boyfriend an insensitive prick are calling somebody names who may not even exist!
yeah...direct current means no electric shock...that's why shower radios are safe. you'd need alternating current to shock yourself.
Funniest.
FML.
Ever.
Though I hope you're alright :)
How can a vibrator cause such an electrical shock for you to pass out? Normal batteries aren't capable of doing that... This FML is such bullshit.
"Today, I walked into the bathroom to find my crazy girlfriend sleeping in the bathtub and a vibrator on the floor. I woke her up ever so gently and told her we needed to talk and next thing I know I have a gash on my head from the plate she threw at me. FML"
That's how it all really went down.
Dropping a house-current appliance into the tub is not automatic death. That would require enough current to pass through a vital organ. If there is a lower resistance path to the drain, and the GFI (all bathroom outlets need that by code) kicks in before the wire got very far into the water, then this could have happened as she claims.
Why was it not filmed?! Now, THAT would have made my life!
#89 - On 05/01/2009 at 1:32pm by MyBloodSings
LMFAO.
You don't deserve it.
Anyone could have made that mistake. XD
But you were the lucky one who posted it on FML.
So I guess FYL.
And I agree with 89
It would be ten times more hilrious if it was filmed.
Why were you in a bath with a vibrator?
Asshole! You could have died. Drop the jerk, girl. If you don't, YD whatever you get.
she couldn't have died, if she got shocked she would even feel it, she faked it when he found her to get sympathy and he just asked what he was doing wrong
Yeah, probably fake.
But to everyone saying "Well he's trying to make sex better for you!", 'interrogations' of that sort are annoying and lead to "Yes, exactly what you do is the best thing ever!", or making something up to try, and lots of faked enjoyment. I think girls who get upset because their boyfriends masturbate or look at porn are a little ridiculous, I think the same of men. And any guy I know thinks it's hot, anyway, so get over yourselves.
For starters, your choice of words is atrocious. He did not "refuse" to call the doctor. Clearly you are not telling the whole truth here. Also, interrogation implies physical or mental torture, of which I can guarantee was not the case.
Secondly, as stated, the physics of it are incorrect.
Thirdly, if this is how you would respond to your boyfriends insecurity, then I have no respect for you. Everyone has issues they are insecure about, and to disregard his makes you a bitch.
The whole thing is karmic justice. YDI
lol @ #21 and #60 comparing apples to oranges. Head split open? Wow you are fucked up.
Also like everyone has mentioned, you cant get shocked from a battery powered vibrator >_>
fake. YDI
Oh, and to the OP, maybe you passed out from the orgasm and not electric shock? Wishful thinking...
All who say boyfriend is in the right: No. All people have the inalienable right to beat their meat as long as they're taking care of their partner too.
As for how the hell you managed to electrocute yourself, I don't get that.
But dump the boyfriend directly.
OMG this sounds like my boyfriend. geez yall its just an fml, not the bill of rights. who cares if its fake. its here for our entertainment.
Bullshit. Batteries can't do that.
fake,
as pointed out batteries can't give you enough of a shock.
so unless you had a plug in vibrator to the wall socket.. and even then your fuse would blow.
Yep, you're either mentally inept, or a liar.
In both cases your boyfriend should be the one dumping you.
what an idiot he is. fuck him.
Dirty Liar indeed. You should have just spoken with your boyfriend to make your sex like better, whore.
Hahahahaha. I can see it now...
"My girlfriend died yesterday."
"Man, dude that sucks. How did she die?"
"Um... from an electric shock... because she was using her vibrator in the tub."
Why is it so wrong for a girl to use a vibrator even when she has a boyfriend? God damn. And, battery powered toys can not shock you in the water. And #82 Win.
While I agree that the batteries cannot give you enough shock to knock you out, it can still shock you. However, at most you should feel a tingling sensation, maybe a bit of numbing at the area. I've been pushed into the pool with my cellphone in my pocket and I can assure you that you can get shocked. And most cellphones have 4,5, maybe even 6 volts or more, more than what I would assume the average battery-powered vibrator.
Also, I agree with #65, OP is being way too over dramatic about this. "refused" and "interrogated" pfft...
geeez people does every fml need to be dissected to figure if its fake or not. Who the fuck cares!! If it was made up then kutos to the OP for sharing their sense of humor and creativity! Haters need to lighten up the fuckup. Yall are bringing down this amazing site!!!
lmfffffao arent they electric.... electricity + water = take a guessss
Pretty retarded story. I dont believe one second you got electrocuted and passed out from AA batteries!!!
#113 - On 05/01/2009 at 2:56pm by didi666
number 112 fails at life (and physics)
#99 + #110
lol, you two... yes it does :P why? Welcome to the internet, that's why. Enjoy your stay.
#20 is right =] and because of that i agree completely.
let me guess what happened next....you woke up and some pretty little fairies picked you out of the bathtub, took you to neverland, crushed petals over your body and fed you grapes.
Bull...shit.
Haha. Honestly, I dont care if this is fake or not. This is funny. lol.
This is probably not real. 20 is right.
But if for some odd reason, this is real... you're a moron. Anyithng electronic and water don't mix.
You should have read the directions before using it dummy!
Your boyfriend is an ass for interrogating you and not calling 911. Dump his ass too. He doesn't care about your health, he only cares about if he is man enough (which he ain't!)
she couldn't have died, if she got shocked she wouldn't even feel it, AA batteries are too week for an actual shock. She faked it, when he found her, to get sympathy she faked an injury. He probably just asked what he was doing wrong not interrogated her.
#22: How does a person's intelligence conflict with whether or not they can get off?
YOU ARE LYING. For two reasons, first unless it was a plug in the wall sort, like a hair dryer the voltage produced would not be enough to be uncomfortable in the water much less make you pass out.
Secondly, if it did not seal properly and was exposed to vaginal moisture then the same shock hazard would exist.
This is the fabrication of some bored 15 year old boy who doesn't know anything about vibrators or electricity.
#95:
1)calm down
2) stop taking things so literal. Because i'm sure you've never said ANYTHING where a better word choice could have been used.
3) The OP never said she was disregarding his insecurities. There is a place and time for everything, especially a serious conversation like that. Checking to make sure she wasnt seriously injured should probably be more important than his sexual competence/inferiority complex.
so what did you grab if it wasn't your vibrator. and if it wasn't your vibrator, then how did your vibrator end up floating next to you. and i'm pretty sure even the most jacka** of boyfriends would have called 911 if you were passed out from electric shock.
nice try though.
wow jesus. guess you learned your lesson. haha fyl
Bullshit. No one has ever been knocked out by a pair of AA batteries. You captured many of the elements critical to a good FML but failed on authenticity. Nice try.
#126: It's not word choice. The whole story is based around being shocked to the point of unconsciousness by a battery powered device, which just isn't possible. This story is made up.
In the unlikely event this is true, why did you take your vibrator into the bath?
Right... if you could get a shock like that from a battery powered vibrator, I doubt that the Venus Vibrance razor would still be on the market. I use that, and I've never been mysteriously electrocuted like this.
Personally, I think he's a keeper for being really concerned with pleasing you.
Also, maybe you just fell asleep? If so, then you need to get a better vibrator =P
#134 - On 05/01/2009 at 5:07pm by jadeddream
I'm sorry, but I laughed SO HARD at this!
It's true, some guys do get irritated if they're sexually active with their girlfriend and they also find out she's using a vibrator.
Also, LMFAO @ #82.
And #133, not all of us use razors in the shower. So how would we know? Plus, battery powered or not battery powered, if it's poor material or fucked up wiring...any of that...that could put her in shock.
HAHAHAHAH THIS IS HILARIOUS!
Yeah, you deserve that. (if it happened) Electronics underwater, tisk-tisk. But you probably just passed out after the orgasm. And you should have an open, working, progressive relationship with your BF and tell him what you want/need. Now he'll be insecure about it and be even worse in bed if you don't.
#114 ... i reeeeally dont fail at life ;) maybe physics though
okay - i can see get a slight shock from the batteries and hitting your head -
Bull shit. Tap water cant conduct electricity. It lacks the minerals which conduct electricity (water itself does jack shit when introduced to a current, its the minerals that alow it to conduct electricity)
You need to make sure it's waterproof next time. Tell your boyfriend no man can compete with a vibrator too.
but ur fine so awnser his question
#144, you're thinking of distilled water. I can assure you that tap water is certainly not distilled water, drinking distilled water will cause death after a while because it subtracts minerals from your body.
What a moron (your boyfriend). And you're a moron for being with someone like that. You should have told him "How about I tell you what you're doing right? It's a much shorter list, so I'll get to the hospital much sooner."
wow... that's jacked up that he didn't get you to the hospital. if i were him, i would ask you why after you got to the hospital.
ur boyfriend has ISSUES
#150 - On 05/01/2009 at 7:36pm by scateice
oh my god! haha i hope that you okay! if you are, you just about made my day! i laughed so hard when i read that, that really does suck though. hope your alright
What a load of BS, this never happened.
Suicide from a sex-toy. LMAO
This is bullshit. There isn't enough electricity in any number of batteries that would be used in a vibrator to cause a shock severe enough to make you pass out.
Complete lie.
Okay, so let's just assume in that you could possible pass out from something like this. If this is the case, us guys are seriously screwed. Not only is your vibrator able to please you faster, it's soo good it'll knock you out... In this slighty altered world, I firmly that believe that the pollution of man would diwndle down to zero within 15-20 years... Scary. hahahaha
Um, well, I guess the fact that he's an insecure neurotic self-absorbed twit would be the first thing he's doing wrong in bed.
Secondly, people are supposed to masturbate. I'd be worried if my boyfriend wasn't.
you deserved it. i would have just left you there.
#156 "Pollution of man"... couldn't say it better myself!
And for those of you suggesting that she could have got the shock from a PLUG IN vibrator, well... Would you really be that silly to take one of those into the bath with you? If you are, then yes, you will almost certainly electrocute yourselves. Because vibrators that run off the mains are never, ever going to be water-proof or -safe.
Either the story is fake, or she brought a plug in into the bath thinking it was waterproof and her boyfriend was being kind by stalling and trying to put her out of her misery. Go boyfriend!!
Pros: OP's boyfriend at least is trying to talk about their sex life to improve it, which is really good.
Cons: OP's boyfriend is assuming the fact that she is using a vibrator means he is bad in bed. That may be true, but in may cases it is a misconception. Sometimes it's just nice to get pleasure by yourself.
Otherwise, what batteries are you using in this vibrator that could cause such an electric shock? I thought no batteries were capable of doing this (though I heard a 9V battery can kill a person). I'm curious now. I'm not saying this is fake, I am really not sure it is. But assuming it's not, I would really like to know more about this. Mostly for my own safety. I took my gameboy in the bath so often when I was a kid (I was careful not to make it wet), now I'm wondering if dropping it in the water by accident could had hurt me.
Well, even if this is fake or whatever, I just have to say that I'm sad that your boyfriend feels threatened by a vibrator. My boyfriend bought mine for me because it's one of the only ways I've ever had an orgasm, and he has no problem with me using it by myself, and definitely no problem with him administering its lovely vibrations! :3
My suggestion would be to compare it to his own masturbatory habits - sometimes you just prefer a faster, solitary orgasm over sex, which is a bit like a dance, where you have to both be coordinated more than if you're just on your own. Masturbation is awesome! It's not like it diminishes your ability to orgasm with him later on in the day. :)
#161 - On 05/01/2009 at 10:26pm by kasha
pics or it didn't happen.
Chances are he and everybody else masturbates too. He's a douche for not getting you medical help.
Shouldnt he be more like " OMG ARE YOU OKAY"
Rather than " WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?!"
#165 - On 05/01/2009 at 10:32pm by Monstarred
Yeah, #159, I tried editing it once I realized I made some mistakes, but getting back to your comment in time and then editing also within the time limit is a lil' difficult on an iPod touch... Haha
Some editing for above:
Possible-> possibilly; "us guys are"-> "all guys would be"; pollution-> population
omg! good thing he found u! u couldve drowned!
#3 So true. But look what you grab in the bath next time.
Idiot. You could've been killed...
Unless you used a 120/240 Volt ELECTRIC vibrator, YOU are a bold face LIAR who is seeking attention.
If you did use a 120/240 Volt ELECTRIC vibrator in water, YOU are an IDIOT. Read the warning label.
Either way, you are a LIAR or an IDIOT.
3 Volts of DC current is not enough for you to even feel, you're a lieing turd and a bad one to boot. Kill yourself.
Wow!!! Most of you are rather thick. Sit in a bathtub and drop a flashlight in. What happens? The light goes out and thats it! Same concept. Unless this person was dumb enough to use that plug in vibrator which is ridiculous if she honestly thought THAT was waterproof. So to sum up my argument...
THIS STORY IS LIES!!!!!!!!!! Someone simply wants some attention and has to do it over the Internet.
To some degree, you deserve the shock but you don't deserve your boyfriend being a little bitch about his sexual performance. Maybe just like the orgasms from yourself better than the ones he gives you. No shame in liking what you do to yourself over that of others.
does this vibrator plug in the wall or something? I find it very very hard to believe that a battery powered vibrator has the amperage to cause any serious problem as detailed in the OP.
bullshit he needs to get his priorities straight. your the dumbass who put an electric vibrator in water. He should have left you there.
YDI for letting him take ownership of your vag.
Ha!!!!! Shiiiiiit everybody knows this is BS. Dont even bother
no fucking way a vibrator in water will make you pass out. it's called amperage. nice try though.
Next time wear a rubber wet-suit.
try battery powered vibrator next time.
It was a vibrator that you plug into an outlet? If you are old enough to use a vibrator, you should be old enough to know not to allow something that is plugged into an electrical outlet to go into the shower with you. I am sure you have seen movies where people put toasters in the bathtub as a way of committing suicide. Or maybe you saw THE GREEN MILE and the way the electrocutions take place?
In any event I still voted this as FYL.
Yeah, batteries don't shock you...at all. AT...ALL. You're a liar, but it's funny, though.
#187, ever stick your tongue on both leads of a 9V? 'cuz I can assure you, batteries can shock you. Or at the very least give you a tingling sensation
lie. a vibrator, even if not waterproof, wouldnt shock you at all in the tub, it would just short out...definitely not make you pass out from the shock. you're an idiot.

Oh my god, this is so fake. 3 AA batteries can't shock you.
but cool story, bro!
Instead of sitting alone at home making up FAKE FMLs, why don't you go out and really get laid? Dumbass.
THIS IS SO FUCKING FAKE. I HATE WHEN PPL MAKE UP SHIT. IF YOU ARE GONNA MAKE UP SHIT THEN MAKE SOMETHING GOOD UP!
don't know if it was fake. But if it wasn't.... what was he doing wrong in bed? = )
I'm pretty sure you can't electrocute yourself from something battery powered
Nice try i lold, but this is fake
The other posters are right. You cannot get shocked from stuff that just has regular batteries. Why the hell would you take something into the water that's plugged into a wall. Or is this one fake?
Dump him if he won't get you a damn doctor when youre passed out...but before you do, walk in on him jacking off and yell at him and ask him what you're doing wrong in bed.
Uhm, morons? All vibrators are waterproof. Otherwise they would break when you use them. They aren't exactly designed for use in a DRY area are they. Fake, but still funny. And guys, when you pleasure yourselfs would you want your girlfriend to demand you tell he why? I never realized before that women need to be missing something in a relationship, before they get horny. Obv masturbation is a weapon to show your lover that they just aren't good enough... I mean, if she was using it whilst in bed with him then yeah ok. But he wasn't in the building!! Ffs.
well he must be doing something wrong in bed because you had to use a vibrator in the bath.
Nice to see that the "masturbation means that I fail as a lover!" paranoia doesn't just afflict the women in the relationship.

this has to be fake. unless it was a vibrator that plugs into a wall outlet or something, DC current wouldn't shock you. The thing would just short out and die.
this is fake, just one of the many other stories polluting the true f my life's, all for attention.
Holy...your bf is insensitive, self-centered, SUPER insecure, and a jerk.
i hope you're feeling better now :)
Pwaahahahahahaha

i cant believe he thought satisfying his own insecurities was more important than the health and wellbeing of his partner (providing this is all true and all). I truely believe though, that they should both be open about each other masturbating, but by no means not be happy with it. Its fine if they both wanna have fun by themselves from time to time, but they should still be honest with each other. Also it doesnt mean that he's bad in bed, but if he were, she should tell him what he's doing wrong, or what she wants from him. communication rules! but seriously, if it were my gf, and she really was passed out from a current of electricity, id be taking her to a hospital!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for making my day! (=
agrees with 210
if u put a battery or a few on your tounge u get a slight shock but nothing more...... a vibrator couldnt do this, if it was powered by the mains u would be dead...
bullshit batteries don't have anything like enough strength to make you passout unless you wee using a vibrator you plug into the mains which i can;t see you having or using in the bath. why would you make this up ???
#47 I live in the Netherlands too and almost every bathroom I've been in has a (grounded) electrical outlet, especially in newly built homes.

#108 ill tell you why its wrong. because we fight hard enough to get pussy from girlfriends as is. at a time when you actually want cock you better fucking tell me instead of going to fuck around with inanimate objects
The voltage/current is far too low. I call shenanigans.
He's a tard.
Everyone needs time with themself.
To those thinking this is false, maybe it was plugged into a wall.
He has a right to know...
I mean, come on!
And...I'm not sure what else to say, besides this being overly stupid.
Lies, it wouldn't draw enough current, most vibrators dont have capacitors either so it wouldnt ramp it up to the point where it would shock you through the water. Even if it were touching you the current would have to be decent to knock you out. The only way this would be possible is if it were one of the ones you plug in to the wall...and if you used that in the bathtub then you deserve a darwin award.
this is why i hate men. they can run around all they want at strip clubs, looking at porn, etc. but as soon as a girl does something similar, oh no that's terrible how could we do that omg we're such bad people.
god damnit. get brains men, PLEASE.
bitch stop being a sexist
I agree with #14. There is no ways you can get shocked by a battery operated vibrator. You are looking at 3V max, which is DC anyways. So, is there something you are not telling us, like maybe, you were actually using your boyfriends hand drill plugged into the wall. in which case, what the hell did he do wrong in the sack. But, yeah, FYL.
OP is just an attention whore as far as Im concerned. YDI, if it even happened.
hahahhahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahaahah
honestly....
i dont care if it did happened or not.... but truely fucking hilarious

@ 11 I am a guy and I have a girlfiend yet I still do not "yank." Not all guys do that by the way.
i don't really believe this story. if you had passed out while taking a bath, you'd have drowned. and if your vibrator is not made out of wood, it won't float. i call bs.
but to all the men: women do NOT masturbate because they're not satisfied with their guys. those are two completely different stories. we do it cause it's fun, period.
you could have drowned. That's the FML right there. he was just feeling insecure, but he shouldn;t have let it overcome his fear for your safety
1) You need to dump him.
2) I think that one of my vibrators is waterproof, but I still wouldn't take the chance... I would definitely have checked it in a sink or something beforehand...
That sucks, now you have to get a new vibrator.
I'm just guessing, but is not considering your feelings what he's doing wrong?
wow there are so many FMLs in this FML lol
Hahaha, what a great boyfriend XD

haha what was he doing wrong?
you have a regular vibrator AND a water proof one? he must be doing something wrong.
What really happened was he found her doing that in the tub and curiously asked if he was doing anything wrong, then to get out of the awkward conversation the bitch faked an injury. After all, a couple batteries wouldnt be able to injure you like that. Shes a dumb bitch for even posting this here, so are all the morons that believe her dumb story like "ZOMG HE SHOULD HAVE HELPED YOU" lol
Pisses me off that obvious blatant LIES like this make it past the moderators. How many freaking batteries would it take to knock a person unconscious in the bathtub????
Your vibe must be the size of the Eiffel freakin Tower!!
To be fair, if the vibrator was the type that plugs into the wall it may have enough current to knock someone out, though it may have also caused burn injuries. This one could technically be plausible, though very unlikely.
