About rldostie : I'm a late Roman historian, an Iraqi war veteran, aspiring author, and have a love for languages (Aside from English, my best language is Japanese, followed by some French, Farsi, Dari and Ancient Greek).

I'm an avid CROSSFITer--paleo, 3 on 1 off kind of athlete. I believe very firmly in the motto of, "if you don't like something about yourself, change it." I love outdoor activities, but also really enjoy curling up with a good book. I enjoy a great debate, particularly if they're the "no fly zone" variety (ie Politics and Religion).
