lol don't you hate people that sat first
(0)Is her name Alex?
(0)Is that a Degrassi reference I see? =O
(0)I was thinking "Flashdance."
(+1)Lol give the boyfriend a break, he just has an awsome sense of humor so get over it
females smash up a sammich for us
kthanksbye
(0)You + sammich = Peruvian lapdance.
(0)LOL so apparently I wasn't the only one who was reminded of Degrassi...
and honestly what other response would you expect out of a guy? you just called him to say you're [female, probably hot] friend is a stripper. do the math.
(-1)That's messed up. Sorry to hear your boyfriend is a complete horndog. I hope your friend comes to her senses as well. Good luck
(+2)To be fair, I'd ask the same thing really. I'm sure all guys would.
(+2)I agree, even if just jokingly.
(-2)Your boyfriend was being normal. This is not a FML. Move along.
(0)muhmm..something most guys would say or think
(as a joke)
(or not :D)
(-1)I would ask, too, as an attempt to cheer her up, haha
But, hey, she shouldn't be upset, because her friend is trying to pay for school. She should find a way to help her, rather than call her boyfriend and whine.
Her boyfriend is going to take action by showing up there with a few of his buddies to help pay her bills.
(+1)Where does she work and when?
(+1)Yes, two important questions that need answering.. :)

assholes
(+4)Is Asshole's the name of the club you work at, anal-o?
(+1)LOL!
(0)Omfg win! As for the op, learn to take a joke, although I feel for your friend. I mean i felt her. At the club, you know, stripping. Not cool at all. Your life doesn't suck, op, your friend's does. You should be grateful for a quick witted young buck like your bf laddie!
(+4)He is concerned and wondering where he can find her... and find a show... and support her education.
(0)O wow Thats not cool, especially because it's your friend your boyfriend wants to see strip... Are you sure he wasn't just joking with you?
(+2)I think it is great that your bf is helping your best friend get started on her new career. I'm sure it will be very comforting for her to start out performing for some familiar and supportive faces. And laps.
(-4)Too many negative votes, comment buried. Show the comment.
he is being supportive (by means of monetary compensation)
you should be happy you have a bf who is willing ot helping your best friend in a time of need.
don't be such an attention whore.
(-2)wats her number
(-1) I'd be glad to help her get through school...
(-2)may I introduce you to some exotic snake oil?
#10 - On 12/15/2009 at 8:22pm by blland
(0)Yes you may, mr. Burrito, oh you have no idea how may you can may.
(-1)girl, i would have slapped him. i would have also made sure he was joking too, cuz i know my bf would say something like that to me if i told him the same story.
(0)What the hell is wrong with that? It's her body, and all things considered it's really not a bad way to get some funds, especially when paying for something so expensive -- either you get it where you can, or you're stuck with loans and interest for the next twenty years. At least she's not robbing banks or dealing drugs. Stripping isn't even prostitution. If I thought convents had computers, I'd be firmly convinced you were posting this from one.
But all that aside, your boyfriend's no keeper. FYL. And if you have any dignity at all, you'll drop him for even saying something like that. Some guys just exist to give life to the stereotype that "men only want one thing". Is it even considered a stereotype if it's actually true in about 75% of males aged 15-30?
(-1)Thank you for a wise comment.
(-1)@12. yeah men are such assholes with their absolutely normal sexual instincts. oh and half the time guys say stuff like that, they r joking, which the OP's boyfriend obviously was. however first paragraph of comment agreed.
(+3)why is he not a keeper? I'm a girl, straight, and that would have been my first response, too. I cocktail waitress at a strip club, and my BF comes in occasionally with our mutual friends and I buy him lapdances from the girls I like (because he won't tell me which ones he likes for some reason :) )
OP, open your mind. your friend is showing the same thing for money that woman get drunk and show at the bar for free, what's the big deal?
your boyfriend responded in a way that 90% of guys (100% if they are guys like the ones I know) would have. get over it.
or leave him and stop talking to her because you are a closed-minded, self-centered prude. they are prolly better off without you :)
(+1)#12 Funny how you can be so hypocritical in how fakely open minded you are on the first half of your comment, and yet totally prudishly conservative in the second half.
(0)Doesn't sound contradictory at all. She is telling OP that the friends would be better off without HER, because OP is a prude.
Judging by this site no girls have the capacity to understand sarcasm and take every joke their boyfriend says as being wholeheartedly serious. *sigh*
(0)Why would you say something like that #12? You're one of THOSE women aren't you. Ya know, the ones that can't find a man because they feel he doesn't DESERVE you or he's not GOOD enough.
(+2)That's alright.. I hear his best friend is a dildo model. Maybe you should help his enterprise (by that I mean financially) by comparing the product with the original. See if he got all the bumps and ridges correct..
(0)After his visit to the strip club, Nick the dildo model discovered several unusual bumps along his prized lassiepecker. Fhl. (funrod, one eyed serpent, gootube)
(-2)Honey it's a recession. At least your bf is helping to support her education since you clearly are not. Think for yourselfer
(0)He was probably trying to cheer you up with a joke. I don't think he was serious.
(0)twas my inital thought that it was a joke
(+1)Sadly, it's one of the only ways to actually make some decent money these days. 8(
(-1)Well your boyfriend is an ass but you really shouldn't judge your friend. It's not like she's a prostitute and stripping is a good way to make money. School is expensive. It's her body why should you care.
(+2)As long as her employer is reputable and trustworthy and doesn't force her into sexual acts for the clients, and as long as the job isn't causing her issues with body image or self-esteem, why should you have a problem with it? Sure, it's not a waitressing job or anything (and certainly not a job I would ever apply for), but as long as she's happy and safe, it's her job, her body, and her life.
And your boyfriend was probably joking. It sounds like something my boyfriend would say....and he and I both laugh over it later.
(0)Even I agree that stripping is better than being a waitress. Especially these days where there's a high chance of Douchebags making the job a LOT harder for you than it should be. Everyone I've ever known to have a waitress job always suffers from stress.
(+1)unless you luck out and land a cocktail waitressing job at a strip club, where the most stressful part of it is telling guys who want you to strip for them for go F*** themselves in a nice way so they still tip you ^_^
(+2)Omg, wow your boyfriend is a douchebag haha..... unless he was just kidding around. I mean my boyfriend does that a lot. So it could be just a simple humor act lmao.
(-1)Oh, no, your boyfriend made a typical guy response, woe!
I feel for ya, though. FYL because of your best friend, sort of. I try to imagine one of my best friends becoming a stripper. First I laugh really hard. Then I shudder.
ha ha personally i think its funny. typical man question. i think you should have just gone with him to make him feel awkward. make a comment about every stripper there and ask him his opinion then get wasted

(-1)you deserve because this isnt the kind of issue you go 2 ur BF about....what were you expecting...if it bothers you that much....talk 2 her yourself...telling a MAN about strippers isnt the way 2 go....
(+1)What were you expecting your bf to say? I'm also fairly certain he was joking.
(-1)shes the one stripping and fyl??? mmmmm
#34 - On 12/15/2009 at 9:08pm by catriona_cd
(-1)Strippers never finish school.
(-1)are you fucking kidding me? you're an idiot. how can you possibly make the statement 'strippers never finish school'? where are you from? stop breathing please
(+1)Successful troll is successful.
(-1)#35 Strippers are not real people. They are empty shells with no parents or loved ones, who exist solely for men's entertainment. That does not mean to say that they can't finish school, how judgemental...
Why are you so angry? If she wants to take trucker splooge in the face in the back of Baldy Britney's No-Panty Palace then let her.
#36 - On 12/15/2009 at 9:17pm by shaister
(+3)at least at a good strip joint there are burly men around to make sure the patrons keep their hands off the goods, more protection than most waitresses get from douchbags who think it's ok to grab someone's ass.
#37 - On 12/15/2009 at 9:19pm by Lehk
(+2)I have a friend who was the DJ at a strip club for a long time. He had some pretty entertaining stories about the strippers not talking shit from anyone. One time a guy thought it would be okay to bite a girl's boob, and she took her super tall stiletto shoe off and clocked him on the forehead with the heel. She got off scot-free, and the guy got banned from the club.
The girls who work at those clubs are stronger than you think, and typically bouncers will come to their rescue if they absolutely have to.
Personally, as long as it's a decent club and she's responsible, I don't really think it's a problem that she's stripping.
OP, I don't know if your boyfriend was joking or not. If he wasn't, FYL, because that's a douche bag thing to say.
(+1)taking shit, not talking shit. I can't believe I just noticed that. I fail.
(-1)its her life n her body..why are you upset? at least shes doing it to further herself in her education..youre probably just upset cause she has the body to do it..n you dont..as for the comment from your boyfriend..wow..really? youre saying FML cause he said that?
dude, my guy says worse things but its me he comes home too..hell i go to strip clubs with him..n get him lap dances..i get the mags, the porn, the toys, i tell girls he thinks they are hott..but i trust him to know what lines not to cross..but because we talked about it..we know where we stand n how strong a relationship we have..
if that pissed you off..you need to have better communication with him or just leave him n find some sucker thats just gonna praise you every second of the day..n treat you like the princess you are not..
(-1)He's a guy. It's a normal guy response. If you were afraid he might say something like that, don't mention it. Guys will be guys. Get over it.
(-1) ydi for being a duff jk why do you care if she is a stripper anyway you are the one with a boyfriend and a job
(0) haha boyfriend win!
(-1)weird. she's not even in school.
(0)He's a bloke, what do you expect?
(-1)were you expecting a different response? I wouldn't of.
(0) rofl
(-1)Maybe he asked you because he wants to go talk to her about it..? (:
(-1)you left out where she works and what time.
(-1)agreed. we're still waiting on that OP
(-1)What's the problem? Everyman needs his "special" entertainment. Btw, I know the questions getting old, but where and when does she work?
(-1)Someone isn't doing to job.
Everyone, please calm down.
(-1)I'm Sorry. I meant to say, 'someone isn't doing her job.'
And still, everyone calm down.
(+1)Maybe he was joking? This is exactly the answer I would give my wife if she told me her friend started stripping. Only difference is, she would know I am joking.
(-2)"they say you the man...(You da man ya)
It's the let out part,.. get out, c'mon get your 500 dollars in ones..
it's time to ball out!"
(0)Oh what a world we live in. One where people can justify stripping for money.
(0)Epic win for your husband. ^.^
(0)Feminism is about choice, clearly her friend made the choice to do this, so good for her. And yes, I would even say that to a prostitute or escort, if it were their choice.
(0)You shouldn't judge your friend for stripping, just be wary because I have a friend who did the exact same thing and she got into all kinds of drugs and stuff...Give her some support so she doesn't go that way either.
As for your boyfriend, I would expect more from him if it were me. All these people saying, "Oh he's a guy and that's typical" really piss me off because there are a lot of guys out there who wouldn't say that, even as a joke. The way I see it is anybody who hides behind an excuse like that is a coward and doesn't have the balls to be a man and keep his self in check. I expect my boyfriend to act like a man, not a obsessive little horn dog who wants to fuck anything with legs and a vagina.
(0)Who needs legs?
(0)i would have said that jokingly... all guys would have. u need to take a chill pill or else your boyfriend is just gonna dump you for being a psycho. haha
(0)You can't speak for all guys.
You've obviously never been in a meaningful relationship, but that's ok, because one day you will meet a girl that you want to spend the rest of your life with and you'll either grow up or lose her because you keep 'joking' about other girls.
OP obviously didn't think her boyfriend was joking, or she wouldn't have posted would she?
(+1)So because someone has a sense of humor and (even crazier) has a gf who could actually take a joke, they've never been in a meaningful relationship..really? Get the stick out of your ass.
(+1)Really?! Some people can't take a joke! My fiancée likes to joke around all the time and I enjoy it. If he was always serious and never joked around, I don't think I would be with him or be engaged to him.
(-1)I'm with See_Air_Ah on this one. If the girl was clearly upset about her friend (and who knows if the best friend was eager to take clothes off for money) than the boyfriend shouldn't have made a joke assuming it was a joke.
FYL OP dump that loser.
(+1)YDI for crying about your friend stripping you stupid shit. As long as she isn't whoring herself out there's nothing wrong with it. Oh My God people are gonna see her naked. Seriously I hope someone knocks your teeth down your throat!
(0)So your boyfriend is straight, I really don't see the problem here...
(+2)When I started dancing my bestfriend and her boyfriend came in to see me. It was a little embarrassing for him to be there but it was funny too. we had a good time hanging out. Oh by the way, I'm still in school doing great. At my club the bouncers will totally stop a dance if a guy puts his hands on a girl- no touching allowed. I have never done a drug, so all of you can f yourselves for thinking you know all about strippers when you don't know jack.
(+1)Im just wondering why YOU'RE upset with your friend becoming a stripper. How has this changed who she is? It hasnt. She's still your friend. Just because she has taken a job as a stripper does not mean that she has somehow dropped her moral ethics or anything. It's a job. A job that pays great money. Its HER life. Or is it that you are now embarrassed to be associated with her, thinking that people will lump you into the same stereotypical category that you just put her in yourself? if thats the case, you need to get over it.
#77 - On 12/16/2009 at 1:11am by Reality_bites
I'll start sympathizing with "my boyfriend is a jerk" FMLs just as soon as you provide some sort of evidence that you're not actively selecting jerks to date.
#78 - On 12/16/2009 at 1:21am by dan131m
(0)So you don't assume he could've asked that so he could've gone there and talked her out of it; you instantly assume that because he's a man, he wanted to go and watch the strip show? Not all guys are people who go to and/or enjoy strip shows so don't stereotype, bitch.
(0) as a guy, i would have said the same thing to my girl as a joke. it's hard not to make a joke like that. stop getting bent out of shape because your bf made a joke.
(+1)so she's stripping big deal be glad she isnt standing on a street corner and abt your bf comment stfu ydi
(-1)boys...
(0)I don't see how you could have expected any other answer to that statement to be honest.
(-1)Doesn't sound like your boyfriend was upset.
(+1)1. Unless he was running to the car when he asked the question it was a joke.
2. Strippers are people too, you should learn to love them as I do.
3. Where and what time dammit? How many times do we have to ask you?
(+1)YDI for not letting ur bf support ur bff.
(+1)Stripping isn't some horrible dirty profession. It takes some amount of skill (believe it or not), and it pays a LOT. Dont judge your friend so harshly.. there are plenty of good people who strip for a living. Also your boyfriend might have been joking.
(0)What's the problem?! Like a good friend he wants to help her getting money so she could get out of there fast. You shouldve think of this before and should help her too.
(0)Ur a shitty girlfriend it was probably a joke...
(0)it was probably just a joke. and it's nothing to cry over. at least it's not porn? hehe. >>;
(-1)Why would you whine to your boyfriend about something like that? Guys don't wanna hear that shit, they wanna know when and where that ho works! Haha!
(0)He's a guy what did you expect?
(+1)maybe you're boyfriend just wants to support your best friend in helping her pay for school
(0)maybe you're boyfriend just wants to support your best friend in helping her pay for school
(0)Most likely he was just kidding... i dnt c the reason to take it serious.
(0)Here's a quick link you may need for future reference, OP.

(0)here's another link incase 107's is broked:

(+1)Strippers are not prostitutes, people commenting on this are seemly very uneducated. A stripper is just a erotic model, the only diffrence from them and a victorias secret model - is they have an audience
(0)thats the only question to ask......
(-1)/WIN
(0)ROFL!!! This guy has a great sense of humor, unless he was serious, which, I'm sure he wasn't. I know that would be my reaction(depending on the girl). And i'm sure he got his butt chewed for that one, but that's still frikken hilarious.
#115 - On 12/17/2009 at 12:47am by colt45
(0)he just wants to help support your friends education, god! why would you be pissed at him for just wanting to help??
(0)Why were you so upset about your best friend stripping? Is she also you're identical twin and you don't want ppl to know what you look like naked?
If she's okay with it, so should you be.
#118 - On 12/17/2009 at 5:47pm by indianabummer
(0)Yeah exactly my point. How is this FML-worthy?
(0)Your boyfriend is hilarious.
Respect that. :)
(0)Haha what answer did you really expect when you asked that? My ex is a stripper and my mates couldn't stay away from the place!!!
(0)yeah was prob a joke so get-tha-fuck over it! ya big child .do u cry when he looks at oher women?
(0)i'd do the same, Pure joke, just to make his Girlfriend jaleous...no worries, he'll never go there. =)
(0)it was probably a joke, my boyfriend would say that too.
(0)he is a guy, this is what we are like :P
all of us, there are just some who hide it
(0)What did you expect him to say? He's a man.
(0)I'm sure he was just making a joke to cheer you up.
