That was very unlucky! Hope he accepts your explanation though
SO? Just get your neighbour to back your story by explaining to your boyfriend about what happened. Not an FML.

If they really were cheating wouldn't her co-worker go along with any story she comes up with anyway?
In cases like that the only options are: let him think your screwing him so you can finally be free OR tell him to smell your pussy.
offer him a threesome with your colleague in exchange for a threesome with any woman of his choice.
I like turtles.

It's not what you think, I was just fixing her plumbing !
Man I would give so much to see what happened next...
I like how He only cared about his shirt why not is pants or shoes. Were they less important. I just think it's fake.
I wouldn't exactly strip down in a friends house just to fix plumbing =S
Agreed. Also, where was the boyfriend during all of this? Was he not warned about the incident as well? Furthermore, why is it 'unexpected' of him to come home? Are you testing this excuse to see if it’s believable?
that's a great idea, vasage. not.
hahahahaha you have ALOT of explaining to do! :/
Was it seeing your colleague with no shirt that made your so-called "water tank" burst?
Were you both soaking wet emerging from the bedroom?
that's pretty darn sexy ;)
Your water tank is on the roof??
Yeah seriously.. who keeps their water tank on their roof? AND climb on the roof through the bedroom window? Seriously, use a friggin' ladder.. or hey, put the tank in the basement LIKE ANY NORMAL PERSON WOULD DO!
Yeah...why was he going to your roof? My water tank is in my basement. And why were you guys in the bedroom?
Well, where I live, we don't have basements.
So it's either on the roof or at the side of your house (where mine is), or I don't know where else you could put it here.
Anyway, maybe that's the case.
Their water tank would've been next to the house he just went through the roof to get to it.
The poster lives in Australia. Her house isn't built the same as your house. Houses in Australia tend to be a single storey with no basement (what Americans might call a bungalow). My dad lives in Australia and he has a solar-powered hot water heater on his roof. And because the roof isn't so high, it's fairly safe to crawl onto the roof without a ladder.
is anyone else having problems with the main page???
a bunch of them FML's are blank.....
they have no ID number, no names, and the "i agree your life sucks," and the "you totally deserve it" boxes are all the same amount....
;D

maybe you shouldn't be such a whore
well if she did he could think he was lieing so either way it could be a fml
Ouch.. thats a tough situation, I hope he believes you. Is the colleague hot?
you know what i think? the OP was actually cheating with her coworker, and knows that her boyfriend reads FML, so she came up with a "plausible" story and posted it on FML to get out of trouble.
Haha, 33. I bet that's exactly how it went.
But all the BF has to do is ask the neighbor if the story is true and check hs back yard for a bunch of water. If she's using that story that could easily be proven a lie as a cover up for fucking her coworker then she deserves to be caught. I doubt its a lie though. PS, he was in the bedroom because he climbed through the bedroom window in order to get on to the rooftop. How else is he supposed to get off? Jump? Also, if I had someone on hand to assist me I would have taken it instead of calling my BF where ever he was and disturbing him. Its like if you get a flat tire at the side of the road and someone pulls over to help you. Will you send them away and call your BF instead? I think not. Zero common sense on FML. I swear.
i think number 33 is onto something here
Need a moment? Grab a Twix.
ahaha perfect :) That should be in a commercial OMG. YES SEND IT TO THEM NOO WAIT I WILL.
Some of the comments here are ridiculous.
Of course he didn't take his pants off. He wasn't a friend; he was a coworker.
oh yeah, coz co-workers cant be friends, and affairs in the workplace NEVER happen
Oh gosh. That really sucks. I'm sorry. At least you got help with the water tank business.
Well you should dump the boyfriend anyway, what good is he if he can't fix your water tank? pfft. This is a nice exit strategy.. Just go with it.
Also pants aren't as hard to pull off and wet shirts are pretty uncomfortable than wet knees.
This was a reply to a deleted comment.
wow. has plexico been to this one yet? im DYING to see wat he has to say to this.
Wow, I agree your life sucks. But you know you loved what you saw. ;D
"honey it isn't what you think, he took it off just in case he got wet" :/ either way im sure your bf will understand :P

good cover story. did you post it here just to try prove to your boyfriend that it's true?
why were u in the bedroom to begin with, and why wouldnt u call ur bf to let him know about the burst water tank if he lived there too?
I dont understand y u would get a colleague to go home with you to fix it but not call ur bf to let him know.
Nice cover up story, kiddo. Even I don't believe it.
u know, following up your lie with a fml post doesn't give it more credibility!
besides - if your boiler truely had broke to the extent he needed to take his shirt off to stop it getting wet, there would surely b evidence to back up your story!
If the damage really was that bad there would still be water or some form of evidence to prove this to be true which would make this more of a Fuckthatwasawkwardandalmostreallysuckedass than an fuckmylife
whohoho! I bet he is pih-issed!

this is probably her sad attempt to make her bf believe she isn't screwing her coworker
you have a water tank on your roof??? ive never heard of that before. i call fake.
I'm guessing the boyfriend reads this site, and this is part of a very elaborate cover story. But then again, that's just me.

YDI for ruining your water tank
#43, what you said is total rubbish. Do you have a brain? Her BF couldn’t fix the water tank because he didn’t know about the water tank. Which begs the question, why did he not know about it?
No matter how much of her story is true or false, it definitely has room for suspicion. If her BF lives with her, surly she should have contacted him for assistance, or at least have called him, even just to let him know. It doesn’t seem that she did. She took a male co-worker to their place without him knowing. Who he then found “Emerging from the Bedroom” half naked. If I were her BF, I’d be skeptical also.
I'm not saying she's lying, she might be, maybe she just didn't think things through...
#62 - On 11/16/2009 at 4:31am by FeFo
there is only one way the bf could've handled the situation.
sent the co-worker out, lock the door and tell the girlfriend to drop the pants, then check if she is wet down there.
trust me, only way to find out immediatly.
Do you not shower after sex? Ew..
Bullshit. This doesn't even make sense. Why not call the boyfriend instead of bringing another man home? And why would you be in the bedroom? You're just a cheating whore.
10 bucks says this is an attempted cover-up for what really happened knowing that her husband reads FML
SHE BANG
Uh huh,
Why were BOTH of you coming out of the bedroom? If he had to crawl through the window to get in he would have just opened the door for you.
YDI for trying to cover on FML.
#70 - On 11/16/2009 at 11:28am by Grangoire
What I don't understand is how getting an FML posted about it is going to give her "cover up" any credibility.
I live in Australia, and the water tanks are outside, on the lawn, or right next to the house, so why would going onto the roof help? It makes no sense, because, unless it was raining and you wanted to stop the gutters from directing the water flow into the broken tank, why would you have to go onto the roof?
This never would have happened if you were at home doing the housework& preparing your HUSBAND's, not BF, dinner.
You are a lying whore. I hope he leaves you
maybe you should have not tried to fix it yourself and you should have called an real worker
Pretty obvious that you are lying,.. Why wouldn't you ask your boyfriend? If I were him I would have asked the same,. also you wouldn't get your shirt wet, leaks are close to the floor,. I could see taking your shoes and socks off, shirt doesnt make sense
People shut the hell up. Why would she lie about that? What is she going to do, call up her boyfriend and be like "I posted what happened on FML so now you KNOW it's true." Yeah right. If she WAS cheating, she'd come up with a better cover than that. Like "Oh darling this terrible half naked man was hiding in our bedroom." ....okay maybe not lol
Well, how come ppl think this is a lie?
The colleague followed her home, because she was at work when the neighbour called.
And the neighbour has probably called her bf too, and thats why he came home unexpectedly.
And to be honest, i don't think her bf has any doubt to her story, because the colleagues pants would be wet from the watertank.
But even if the bf didn't react to them coming out of the bedroom, it's still a kind of fucked up situation..
