Today, I was taking a picture for my girlfriend on her phone when a message from another guy popped up and said "So when can I make my move?" Turns out she was talking to him for months behind my back. FML

Should have texted him "never" this is her bf speaking then tell him she has crabs and leave her

I would dump her ass on a stone cold slab of asphalt

Even though this does sound fishy, defiantly look more into it and talk to her. His text does indicate nothing has happened yet, and it could just be a friend teasing her. I've had friends of the opposite sex suddenly proposition me out of nowhere for apparently no reason even knowing I was in a relationship.

The thing is, OP clearly stated that the gf was texting them for months behind his back. While I do think he should talk with her about it, the deception is a pretty bad sign.

You never text your friends and think so little of it that you don't bring it up with your partner?

No, #6, I don't interact with female friends if I think my girlfriend wouldn't be okay with it or would be jealous. As she doesn't interact with male friends if she thinks it'd make me jealous or I wouldn't like it. Obviously if he's texting her "when can I make a move" then it's suspicious as ****, on top of the fact that she's been doing it behind his back for months. Friendships aren't as important as intimate relationships, once you've found the right person.
