Today, I spent another day over 2,000 miles away from all of my friends and family because my selfish boyfriend feels like he's "too good for that place". He also doesn't understand why I'm lonely and want his attention, so instead he plays online games with friends from home all day. FML

Ah, this might seriously be a sign to his true colors, OP. If he's disregarding the fact that you're lonely and also feels like he's too superior to live wherever you hail from originally, then, well...it might be time to do some very, very serious thinking about what this all might mean.
