Today, my daughter couldn't sleep because her pillow "felt like a rock". I asked if she wanted to use mine and she said no. She then rested her head on my stomach and promptly fell asleep. When she woke up, she told me my fat made the best pillow ever. FML

Harsh much? A little kid could easily just call any flesh fat. I've had siblings and cousins fall asleep on my "fat" which is really just flesh, not obesity. Chillax man.

...also, having fat on your body isn't an FML. Being fat isn't a negative judgment on your character or value.
actually it is because its unhealthy. stop trying to make fat people feel better about themselves by ignoring the heart disease, diabetes, cancers, etc. that comes with obesity. being fat is NOT OK, and you most likely don't have a "genetic problem," you are just lazy.

That's what I did to my mom when I was 5...
But, we come from a society (hint: somewhere in Southeast Asia that's NOT Singapore), where chubby is considered pretty, so it's all good.

Her comment obviously hurt you. Try sitting her down and explain what is apropriate to say in conversations, is not apropriate, and that what she said hurt your feelings. It's important to stop her before it becomes a nasty habit.
What matters most, is on the inside. You're daughter will love you for that. =)

As mean as it does sound, it's true. I can fall asleep using my mom as a pillow way easier than using a pillow.
Though in your and her defence, I knew a guy who was so skinny, but for whatever reason his stomach made the best pillow. He's like, "Yeah, every one says that and loves sleeping on my belly, but then they wake up confused because I'm all skin and bones. Or so they thought."

I think it's sweet. I used to use my dad's tummy as a pillow and it wasn't judgmental or mean of me. It was peaceful and I felt safe near my dad. I think you should be happy your daughter loves you.

Why would they diserve it. You don't know why she's fat. maybe she just had a baby or has medical problems that make her fat. I know someone who has a lot of medical problems that used to be really skinny but do to her medical problems she has to take medication that causes her to swell up and she can't even walk up and down the stairs without hurting her self let alone exercise.

Hey, at least you gave your daughter a good night's sleep. That's gotta count for something.
Start paying attention to what you eat. Watch out for stuff like salty snacks, chocolate, candy-like stuff. That kind of stuff usually has at least 2000 KJ/100g, so you can easily ingest way too many calories that way.
