Today, my 15-year-old son was waiting in the car for me after driving around to build up hours for his permit. He then decided it was a good idea to quickly drive over to catch a Pokemon nearby. He didn't count on getting pulled over for texting and driving while underage without an adult though. FML

sounds like your son isn't getting his permit anytime soon. sorry OP.

Too dumb to have a license. I think.

@45 actually he is right. He would be cited for driving without a valid driver's license, the car could possibly be impounded and the citation would cancel his drivers permit causing him not to be able to apply for another for at least 6 months. That was the minimal punishment my friend got back in jr. high.

I wouldn't say dumb. Maybe immature, or easily distracted

Will next time he catching a Pokemon drop a big ass Rock spray, paint as a poke ball and say "GOT TO CATCH THEM ALL." FYL

Why would killing a child with a rock out of spite constitute punishment

Doesn't he know the point of the game is to walk to the Pokemon?

Well, hey, at least he caught the Pokémon, I suppose.

I guess it's a good lesson for him to learn as to why it's a very bad idea to drive and use your phone. Pokemon are not worth getting a ticket or taking someone's life because you weren't paying attention.

Not only that, but driving on your own while you are a new driver (as in still getting hours to fill temps) is dangerous too. You may think you know what you're doing, but a lot of things happen when you're driving that you never noticed from the passenger seat.
