Today, my soon to be ex husband of 22 years turned down my offer to spend the day with our 4 kids on Father's Day. Looks like he'll spend the day working on his half-his-age girlfriend's daddy issues instead. FML

It's his lose... In time the kids will see the big picture on there own...

"Working on"? That's what we're calling it these days? More seriously- 'daddy issues' are almost always the fault of the genetic donor either failing to be a father or being a poor one (and sometimes caused by a mother refusing to let a father near a child, whatever the reason.) If he can't see that his decision to spend the day with his girlfriend rather than his offspring says some not very positive things about his position as someone to help her, he's got issues of his own. Like the lack of a working brain.

That's sick. A girlfriend half his age and he's 22???

So he will be your ex husband, but then he has a girlfriend. In my country you will call him as your ex-husband already. Anyway I think you should consider his point of view, how many days does he spend with his kids ?
