who cares? she is both mentally AND physically a woman now. If u love her, youll try to get through this. If not, break it off. However, FYL because she never told you.
This sounds fake. First of all, if she was previously a man, and had gone through the hormonal suppliments and everything, she wouldn't need to shave. Just as a man who was once a woman would need to shave after going through the transformation. Second of all, it has been 9 months, and you guys have been intimate. You would have noticed that she's never had a period.
If you really care about her, you'll be able to get over this. She is now a woman. Enough she has you fooled anyways.
This doesn't mean you're gay if you stay with her.
Hormone replacement won't stop hair growth completely. She would have to have electrolysis or laser hair removal, and even then, it's possible either of those wouldn't get everything.

Wow... That's big! Be respectful and accepting - I'm sure this has been hard for her on so many levels to transition. I did youth outreach years ago in Hollywood many of the kids had gender issues it created a lot of emotion. Remember first and for most that she is a person!

i am calling bs on this one as well. i am a post op trans woman and i can tell yuo that its not very likely that she would still be shaving a year after having srs (sexual reassignment surgery) . most trans women have had there facial hair removed with either lazer or electro by that point, and if in fact she did still have any facial hair she would need to shave you would have noticed stubble when you kissed her.... unless you never kissed your girlfriend that is =/

Your girlfriend mustve have been taking hormones long before she had her surgery so she shouldn't really have enough facial hair where she needs to shave it off. Obviously his girlfriend was mentally a female at birth but was born a male. It does suck she lied and shouldve been more honest, but it was out of fear that you wouldn't give her a chance. If you two have hit it off well, so far, for ninth months and have loved her all those months, try to understand where she's coming from. Like someone else said, put yourself in her shoes. It's gotta be really hard for her dealing with judgement alone and having to go through a terrible operation to be who she really is. If you love her enough try to accept her. You're dating a woman, not a man! She may be biologically but female mentally and emotionally and now physically. You're not gay. You love your girlfriend and that's that.

If you truly loved her than it shouldn't matter what sex she is. (BTW to anyone whose stupid enough to say something like "how did you not know," male to female sex changes are very believable these days).
