Today, I got a new cell phone. I was texting pictures from my old phone to my new one, including several dirty ones, when I noticed I wasn't receiving any of them on the new phone. I was texting the wrong number. FML

agreed. the new phone you'd think has bluetooth or infrared, or uploading to your computer, or even plain old memory card swapping. maybe the old phone cant be that primitive if it has a camera. but you definitely deserve it for keeping dirty pics of urself on your phone, and for transferring it to your new phone. keep the trash with the trash.

Why wouldn't you just TRANSFER them? USB, Bluetooth, microSD? Surely your phones must have at least one of these things in common. I've never seen a picture phone without both a USB connection AND expandable memory.
depends, could have gone from sony to nokia/samsung/lg or vice versa. but then youd just bluetooth, depending on how old the phone is.

Yeah I can't say it's impossible for the two phones to be incompatible, but what I vaguely meant is it's pretty rare that a picture phone wouldn't be able to transfer the pictures to a computer (and consequently, back onto the new one). I can't say I've ever seen or heard of one that only stores the pictures on the phone with no way to get them off except sending them. I certainly wouldn't even consider buying one like that.
Pics or it didn't happen! I can't believe noone said that yet!
*sigh. FML's nowadays are too predictable.

FYI to those complaining about the OP not using bluetooth, maybe she was transferring pics from an iphone or iphone 3G to a 3Gs where bluetooth file sharing is obviously not possible. Its easier to just MMS it rather than to transfer via usb to pc and syncing it again on itunes.
Have some brains people, its an Iphone, not everyone is as cheap and poor as you guys.

not necessarily true, when I got a new phone, i kept to old one active to give to my mom because her old one died. I would have sent the pics to my computer though
Look on the bright side--some people have text messages disabled on their phone, or they are unable to receive them. Your texts could have gone to somebody like this! I mean, you didn't receive a text back "hey buddy, I think you are texting the wrong number", did you?
