Teachers should be fired because they have to follow rules that the county, state, and national government make? And teachers work very hard to do their jobs, but get little credit for it. They don't go home from work and do nothing. Teachers work for as much as 3 hours every day to make lesson plans etc... and alot of the time go in over the weekend for a whole day.

To clear things up, I don't think the teacher was looking at his pants. She most likely saw that his head was tilted down (in the texting position) and blindly reached under his desk to grab what should have been a cell phone, but instead grabbed something else which had taken up the space where the cell phone should have been (had he been texting).
