Today I broke up with my girlfriend of 8 years. I'm working in another country and only get to see her every two weeks. When I got home and I discovered that there were condoms missing. Turns out she had some fun with a random guy while I was away - just working here to save up for our wedding. FML

Today, a sewer main broke just outside of where I work. It smells like a latrine here but we are not allowed to close down, and the county won't do anything about it for two weeks. The only upside is that I'm not dealing with many customers, but having to smell the entire city's feces is way worse. FML

Today, my husband has destroyed 4 mattresses in 6 years, not through accidental fires or anything, not even through vigorous sex, it’s just that his 24-stone bulk crushes the springs, wears divots in the memory foam, and eventually splits the fabric so the stuffing leaks out. Every time. FML
