The date from hell #5676

By DennisQuaide69 - 27/06/2017 00:00

Today, I went on an a date with a guy I met online. We were waiting in line at Starbucks when he turned to me and said, "Do you want anything?" Just before I was about to answer, he practically shoved in front of me and paid for himself. The cashier looked more horrified than I did. FML

This needs a follow-up. Even though it seems inconsiderate, some people are socially awkward. I always tell people to go to cafes for a first date. It's cheap, populated, and usually daylight. Must people can afford to pay for themselves without the anxiety. Obviously, the problem was with his rudeness; no reason for that.

So you went from being with him online to being with him on line.

Yikes. Chivalry really is dead.

Funny that, There will always be some of us that will always get the door for a lady because it's the right thing to do.

Since chivalry was about duelling and fighting and not anything to do with being a gentleman it doesn't have much to do with this post.

So you went from being with him online to being with him on line.

i swear I see you on EVERY fml post...

Ha! Ha! Not every FML, just the ones I want to put my two cents in.

Annnnd that's a definite no to a second date...

Had you already spent 10 minutes trying to decide what to order? If not, he sounds like a bit of a jerk. Next!

"I went on an a date" English, do you speak it?

yes needs a follow up. glad my wife was normal when we met irl

He's either socially awkward or rude. Paying for yourself should be standard on dates though. Either that or the person asking is the one paying.

Would've ended it right there.
