Today, I tried to wash my work shirt in my bathroom sink. I thought it worked, until my manager took me aside to tell me that my coworkers had complained about 'my hygiene' - I shower & use deodorant every day, but I'm just too broke to wash my clothes in my complex's laundry room. FML

Ask around the apartment complex and see if there is anyone that will cover the cost for you to wash your clothes if you wash, dry, and fold theirs? Or, hell, even wash them in your bathroom at home instead of at work! At least you can improvise a way to actually WASH them instead of just soaking them in what is probably hard water and shitty soap. Get a scrub brush or sponge, some vinegar or baking soda, some laundry detergent or plain dawn, and get to scrubbing. Use the right temp of water like you would in a washing machine, and whites you can just soak in 5:1 water:bleach solution with soap for a load of clothes, agitate or around a bit with a stick or even a cooking spoon, drain, rinse, drain, repeat until bleach smell is gone. There's a benefit to doing it that way- you'll have some hella buff arms and abs after a few months!
