Man it is a messed up world we live in, words don't mean what they mean. Doesn't feminism mean women can live the way they choose to live? Thus a woman choosing to be dominated is feminist. But it's all backwards and has been turned into a women vs. men conflict that just leaves everybody unsatisfied

I see what you're getting at but I was referring to feminism as the movement to empower women, besides that the definition of masculine: mas·cu·line adjective having qualities or appearance traditionally associated with men, especially strength and aggressiveness.

I wonder if he meant to say "feminine", as in you weren't acting girly enough in his eyes, or if he truly meant you weren't enough of a feminist, which, in that case, I habe no idea what he would mean by that.

You simply could've asked him to be more dominant in bed without including the word "masculine." It may have made him feel like he wasn't "man enough" for you. How would you have felt if he asked you to be more feminine in bed?
