Today, I spilled my guts out to my fiancé about some insecurities I've been having. I then turned to look at him through tears at his expressionless face as he texted someone. FML

If this is frequent behavior, and I know you must really love him to be engaged so it'll be hard, you should seriously reevaluate the relationship. And he needs to know that isn't okay; if someone can't be there for your worst and provide comfort and support-- they have no business being there for your best. Talk to him, and if he still acts like he doesn't care, that's a serious red flag. Best of luck, OP. Everyone deserves someone that helps with their demons.

Where do you people find all these douchebags?

Agreed! It won’t get any better when you are married...

What if op's fiancé is the type of person that is always expressionless? Since I was a kid even though I got raised right I actually never had empathy for anyone even though I got taught that, altrough I knew how to act when someone I cared for was sad or stuff like that. You can't just break up with someone just because they don't seem to be touched by what you tell them.

He doesnt care about you before you even got married. Good luck on that relationship if you decide to stay with him.

Toxic people are almost always attractive and good at sex. So they lure in a lot of victims.

The scumbag alert is strong with this one.

He's not good enough for you. You deserve someone better! I'm sorry OP!

Oh, I’m sorry. I mean... Wait, what did you say?

I think it would be best to start distancing yourself from him so you can prepare for a well-needed breakup.

You aren't married yet. Still time to change your mind.

Drama queen shenanigans. I'm guessing that he paid dutiful attention the first ten times or so you played this card, and that he's ******* sick of it by now.
