Today, I went to the Grand Canyon with my family. Also today, I found out that I have a crippling fear of heights. My family left me on a ledge hyperventilating and having a mental breakdown, while they hiked for another 2 hours. They won't stop telling me how pretty it was and what I missed. FML

  • Grand Canyon, eh? Don't they have donkeys there? Donkeys make everything a little funnier. It couldn't hurt and you would have had a friend to talk to while your family enjoyed themselves. In fact, putting donkeys in more situations might help quell the anxiety of other phobic inducing activities. Like donkeys in crowds or under the basement stairs and other enclosed spaces. Seems idyllic for agoraphobia. Just like monkeys are for addiction. Too bad about your vacation, though. ]-: But now you know for next time.
