Today, I have had such a lack of motivation that I had to consider brushing my teeth as a personal victory. FML

I hate to be nosy, but is it possible that you are depressed? I have depression myself and one of the symptoms is severe lack of motivation.

Hey, one step at a time! Get to brushing your teeth every day, then add on another thing if you can, and so on! It can be tough to get motivated but routine helps.

I'm proud of you for brushing your teeth, OP! Many days, I can't even get myself to do that..

I find brushing teeth to be a very uphill task? You say it's not normal!!

As someone who suffers clinical depression alongside an anxiety disorder (a gift from my hypothyroidism), I would like to beg you to visit a doctor regarding depression. I struggle with simple tasks like this, such as showering and brushing my teeth, or even brushing my hair, and many people describe me as the vainest person they have ever known. Depression can hit anyone, and struggling with a simple task such as brushing your teeth as you lack the motivation, and completing simple tasks is a victory for you, could really be a red flag. Please, see a doctor about this. I'm hoping for the best for you.

Another on board the 'see a doctor' boat. There's a lot of things that could cause lack of motivation, especially if the lack of motivation is caused by fatigue. I'd suggest getting a full blood panel done-hormone levels, vitamin levels, iron levels. Some people have issues where they produce hormones but don't absorb them correctly.
