Barbra Millicent Roberts feat. FML

Did you or do you own a Barbie? We hope you do, because it's one of the best fashion dolls on earth. Face it, life in plastic is fantastic. You can brush her hair, undress her everywhere... wait, undress her? Thinking about it, Barbie is kind of hot. Well, if you like the 38-18-34 body measurements. It's funny to see how things  change from the moment you grow older. As a kid you thought she was a doll as well as your best friend, but now you're all grown up you can't stop thinking how seedy she looks. Just like we do, she seems to have become pretty mature all of a sudden. A myth just died.

What's your name and surname?
Emily Yulon Chan (or EyChan)

How old are you?
Twenty Four since last Christmas.

Where do you live?
Los Angeles, California.

What do you do for a living?
By day, I'm your typical office employee stuck in front of a computer and surrounded by never-ending paperwork. But by night, I am a dark and evil villain whose name shall never be revealed*.

*...I'm a freelance artist.

What's your story?
I've lived in and around Los Angeles all my life until I moved out to school in San Diego (UCSD) for three years and studied art. Now, I'm back at where I started!

What are your projects?
I am currently working on my personal webcomic, "StupidFox", which I may retire from this year. I am also working on Diana Falzone's (G4's Attack of the Show, Cosmo Radio, and Maxim magazine) webcomic, "Hot Mess", which can be read at HotMessComic.com. ... I also make a lot of product/packaging designs for "Viagara" supplements, but that's another story :)

Can you tell us about your blog/website?
www.EyChan.org
is a [very] small portfolio of my work. (Why I chose ".org" at the time, I have no idea.) My comics and other casual work however, can be seen through my DeviantArt (silentreaper.deviantart.com).

What inspires you?
Only music can really get me to draw. However, to inspire me, it has to be my favorite song or genre. When I get tired of those songs, inspiration fails me and I'm unable to draw. This is why I constantly need to find new music every month or so to keep them in stock.

What makes you laugh the most?
I laugh to almost anything and everything I think is ridiculous or funny. So I'm not sure what makes me laugh the most in particular.

Why did you choose this FML?

This FML reminded me that I had been wanting to make a commentary on how kids this generation are influenced by media. In this case, the media had created a "Prostitot".

Do you have your own FML anecdote that you can share us?

I was lurking around Facebook when I discovered that the bully/enemy that tormented me during my childhood was a mutual friend
of my boyfriend. FML

Lots of hugs and kisses to you Emily! Thank you for your illustration, we are true BFFs now <3 !
