The 30-Second Bunnies Theatre is here !

Hey hey hey! We're very excited today, not because Renée Perry is one hell of a housewife, but because The 30-Second Bunnies Theatre is on FML today! It can be pretty boring can to see a movie to find out in the end that there were only a few worthy minutes in it. Jennifer Shiman ( has decided to help us save some time, and re-created some of the greatest (or worst) movies of all time, in 30 seconds. And it works. Otherwise she wouldn't be here and we wouldn't be that excited. Let's go for a non-30 second interview!

-What's your name and surname?
-Jennifer Shiman

-How old are you?

-Where do you live?
-Los Angeles, California USA

-What do you do for a living?
-I'm a cartoonist, content developer, Flash animator and digital designer. My company (consisting of one employee, me) is called Angry Alien Productions.

-What's your story?
-I went to university and studied business and media studies. But I've been drawing cartoons since I was 6.

-What are your projects?
-My longest-running project has been 30-Second Bunnies Theatre, in which animated bunnies re-enact and summarize movies in roughly thirty

-Can you tell us about your blog/website?
-I started as a portfolio for my cartoon and illustration projects. Now the site is filled with 68 bunny episodes.

-Why bunnies?
-They work really hard.

- (And that's what she said, literally.) What inspires you?
-I love watching movies and reading books. I love storytelling. Some of my favorite creators include Hayao Miyazaki, Bill Plympton, Neil Gaiman and Stephen King.

-What makes you laugh the most?
-When the joke takes me by surprise.

-Why did you choose this FML?
-I hit the random button and found this FML. I can identify with the story.

-Do you have your own FML anecdote that you can share us?
-I have so many, it's hard to pick one. But I'll choose one from kindergarten, when I was 5: I asked a boy if he would marry me, and he looked me straight in the eye and flatly stated, "no." Harsh! FML

Clic to see the illustration on !

Well, we would have said yes, we simply can't say no to a funny woman. That's our Seinfeld chromosome. Thank you very much Jennifer for your participation!

On theater right now:

If you want to be the next published artist, send an email to [email protected] including a link to your website/blog/DA. But DON'T send your illustration right away! You need first to get in touch with Alice, who's currently waiting for the bride to say "yes", who will tell you what you have to do!
