Today, we had a substitute teacher teach. We were doing attendance check and I hear my name get called. Now, my real name is sort of boyish, but it's spelt differently. I put my hand up, and in a rude voice, the teacher mumbles, seemingly loud enough for me says, "OH IT'S A GIRL." FML

My name is Stevie and I have the same problem. I won a contest in middle school and as I was walking up to get it the lady doing the announcements said "Oh, it's a girl" into the microphone. Also, at my current job, a lot of the higher ups kept repeatedly referring to me as "he" when discussing my training with my supervisor, no matter how many times they were corrected. It's a fun time.
