Today, the 9th grade dean called me into his office to talk. He asked me if I was new because it seemed like I was having trouble making friends. I've been going to the same school, with the same people, since kindergarten. FML

Today, I went to my little brother's high school to speak to his counselor about his grades. On my way to the office, the office manager threatened to write me up for ditching class and told me that high school is not like middle school, 9th grade will be different. I graduated 5 years ago. FML

Today, I've noticed a pattern with my classmates: Every time a new student shows up, they are treated by my classmates as though they've known each other for years. Everyone except me. When I first came along, I was more or less a wallflower. No one wanted anything to do with me. The same is true today. FML

Today, I started at a new school. It's a pretty great school, but there's only one problem: Everybody thinks I'm a teacher. I'm only a freshman. FML

Today, I began my job as an intern at a high school. I saw one of the students looked very familiar, and I couldn't remember from where. Then I figured it out, I had hooked up with him at a club last week. He's a junior in high school, I'm in my last year of college. FML

Today, I interviewed for a full scholarship to college. In the interview I said that I was excited about the new dean because I think she’ll be able to really make improvements and bring the school back to where it used to be. After the interview, I learned my interviewer was the former dean. FML

Today, I went to my little cousin's school to pick her up and it happened to be my old elementary school. I saw my old teacher and went up to say hi, and after a few minutes she goes "Aren't you the girl who's dad always came in drunk on parent's day?" Nice to know that's how I'm remembered. FML

Today, I recently graduated from high school and I went to a college party. I met these girls and told them I graduated college already, to sound cool. I then heard one of them say, "I went to middle school with you, and I was in your math class." FML

aw the same thing happened to me! a girl in my school thought i was a new kid (we went to different middle schools but in the same town) i told her i was there my whole life, and she asked me why i didnt have any friends.. :( i dont hang out with her anymore...

grade 8 and 9 I have real troubles making friends. I was into the normal teenage girl things, not fat, mean, ugly (sure I may not be beautiful but I know I'm not ugly) , weird, too smart, too stupid, but then I started dressing like them and got a Facebook and BAM I had friends. it was seriously instant like that.

I dob't have many friends at school, but that is because i like being alone in the silence.......It suits me. If you are like that then this would just be funny. If not then sorry.

It bothers me when adults try to get involved like that. Especially high school. I wish they'd let us make our own friends. We're not children anymore, they don't need to step up and hold our hands and look both ways. Jeezus.
