sounds like something my dad would say. and then no one would laugh, so he'd think no one heard him, and he'd repeat it. again and again. ::rolls eyes:: if he's anything like mine, he's being a jerk but honestly doesn't realize it. obviously if you're bringing her to meet them, you really have feelings for her. i guess just ignore him...but i'm sure your girl was really hurt by it, that sucks :( at least she has a guy who cares about her, whether she's a "dragon" or not...

#3- he wasn't referring to proposing, he just meant that he was planning on proposing to her that night but it was kind of ruined when his dad compared her to a dragon. Wow that sucks though. This is definitely a FYL, although I do agree with some of the others that rushing into it probably isn't a good idea. Maybe sit your dad down and tell him that she is your princess and ask him to try and not to **** it up so bad next time =D
